  • i like pc but what like more is mac

  • Thankful I can use IE 8 still. What was the thinking of moving the favorites icons to opposite sides of the screen. I still click the wrong one and keep adding unwanted icons to my favorites bar. Another big mistake is taking away the separate search bar. I do not use Bing, bang or whatever and never will. Thanks that google has a fix still to make it the default search engine. I am also glad i saved all my sidebar gadgets as someone thought they should get rid of that concept, another mistake.

  • podiais quitar la puta musica a los putos comerciales

  • I only installed this just to play Cut the Rope :p

  • ie9 ie9 ie9 9ie ie9 iei9 i

  • ie 9 worse yet soo may bugs sooo many crash issue i rather be on ie 8 i had way less problems

  • @dottdepp31 What bugs? Tell me. I have 0 bugs or problems with IE9!

  • I see no real difference between ie9 and ie8 whatsoever, i dont think ill bother with this update

  • @PPKproductions3 are you kidding me?

  • @Xvanga13 lol i Just upgraded and ive proved myself completley wrong XD

  • @PPKproductions3 haha yeah it's quite a good upgrade and I'm using it right now :P

  • i m somewhat of a m$ fanboy...but ie even the latest one is a piece of shit...it took so long to install...had to restart atleast twice...slows down the computer...takes longer to load pages than other browsers...highly recommend chrome...

  • @effu68 Negative! It is much beter than Chrome!

  • IE rules! the best browser *DOT.

  • @joonaskanter Absolutely right!

  • the 7 dislikes use firefox

  • who the fuk uses Bing?

  • you can pin most chrome apps to the taskbar too. this is nothing new

  • @MrBlalalalla no you cant. and this is a fact

  • @AdrianGordon1231 Yes you can. And that is a fact. DO some research, or actually try Chrome. Or stop Trolling

    watch?v=bToM7ZmZlKo

  • @MrBlalalalla But this can't make Chrome better.

  • I would not suggest anyone use it until Microsoft fixes all the problems that are associated with it. We got rid of it on all computers at work and suggested customers not to use it... It's clearly not ready for use...

  • Good think I'm not updating my IE. Annoying thing is that every time I open up IE a pop up telling me to download IE 9 like it's begging me to do it.

  • @howne44 I DEMAND TO HAVE IE 8 BACK D:<

    Our poor computers ;~;

  • IE9 slowed down my computer 5 time sslower then it already was -_-

  • and question

can i still instal toolbars on IE 9?

because thats the thing i hate the moste the focking toolbars

the toolbars sucks i dont work with it and yet i got it.

    stupid IE!

    Cheers!

  • Does IE9 block internet video ADS? I can't stand watching those 30 second ads before 1 minute videos.

  • Wow, they seriously copied Google Chrome. (i.e. the "drag a tab out to convert into a new window". the minute you opened it I could tell it was from Chrome. Internet Explorer/Microsoft get you're own style. Do something that hasn't already been done, because now you guys are copy-cats and are just trying to play "catch-up" with everyone else

  • ie9 rocks. i ran a test with chrome and ie9 was faster.

  • ITS SLOWER THAN EVER

  • 9 SUCKS. I PROMISE YOU ITS SHIT

DONT INSTALL IT. THE LAST VERSION IS MUCH BETTER. THERE IS NO REAL NEED TO CHANGE

  • @Alba12349 Asshole suck my dick bitch

  • @NikolaGB

yeyeye go fuck yourself you faggot computer nerd

  • @NikolaGB Hhaa whos calling me a nerd omg get a life :D stupid ass kid

  • I'm guessing it doesn't work with Windows XP.

  • @MewWolf5 Nope, doesn't work with XP. XP's really old though, so it's not a big deal

  • So they just copy every other brands features. This is why I moved to Chrome :)

  • copy of chrome and Mozilla Friefox

  • @ALEMAN523 Firefox 4 is copy of Opera soo?

  • thats not even cool

  • I still like chrome better, because the address and search bar are the same, so I can press the internet button on my keyboard and start typing

  • @Person432483920 The address and search bar are the same on IE9 too dude lol even mentions it in this video.

  • i like your desktop wallpapaer where did you get it/?

  • I recently switched from Chrome to IE9 to give it a shot, it's brilliant, totally great it's already given me several options which were not available in other browsers that I find useful, the ONLY problem I have with it are the lack of spell check (even though you can easily install a add on) and the silly looking cut off back button, but apart from that it's brilliant I must say.

  • @xDet3rmin4tionx

    what can i se

it is windows every thing from windows is not finisht

they bring it out when it is 90 procent ready

so yes it is normal to got bugs in windows programs.

thats whay i hate windows programs and windows OS.

i wish i can beck to windows 95 ore 98 (Secend edition)

that was the best windows ever.

    Cheers!

  • @nargarothfreak666 haha yes I see what you mean, thank you for your reply!

  • @xDet3rmin4tionx

    NP :)

  • @nargarothfreak666 Then go chance it to Windows 95, no one forcing you to use Windows 7 :) But i see what u mean about Microsoft releasing the official stuff when it's really a BETA. But IE9 is actually way better than the previously versions. I tested all browsers in speed. Opera is the fastest webbrowser, then comes Chrome, and Firefox, Safari and IE9 had the same speed.

  • @Opadome

    ookey

    well thats wierd:P

i have download all the web browsers there is for windows

but for me chrome canary is the fastest browser.

but still IE is not save at al for searching on the web thats why i hate IE maby IE9 is better i have it but dont use it. it is to damn slow takes ages to go on a page and i get everytime stupid popups wiht things i dont want. always comercial bullshit no i hate IE i am use chrome canary now and it is easy to use it is a little big program but it is fast

  • @nargarothfreak666 I have been using Google Chrome for almost 2 years and it's a really good browser, but i know why Opera is faster. It's because its loading the pages in really bad quality. If Chrome did the same it would be twice as fast as it is now. Before IE9 i used Google Chrome, but IE9 is good enough for me now, it's easy, simple, stable and fast, but i don't really care what people are using as their browser, i actually like all 5 browsers, they are all unique in each way :P

  • @Opadome

you got there a really good point my friend

every body got his owne browser to work with

but i think more peoples using IE because that is a basic browser on every windows.

but thanks again mate i dont wnat to bother you again.

    Cheers!

  • @nargarothfreak666 good god you're a stupid fuck

  • @Opadome Avsolutely agry with you! I tried all browsers too... and decided, that IE9 is good enough for me. I have not to install 3-party browser, cause any of tham have no does not have these advantages over IE9 toinstall them in addition to clutter up my computer.

  • Comment removed

  • i think i'm changing to IE9 (when i get Windows 7) :D

  • I used almost all browsers, the best part in any IE versions are that the download in not inbuilt so they dont create temp in root login again and again. FF, Safari, Chrome all has inbuilt download feature which is not that creative since user prefers own destination and less root filling.

  • IE9 sucks. All the IE's suck. Microsoft better stick to making OS's. Firefox 4 is the best. I tried it. Very fast even over my crappy EDGE connection o

n my PC via my cell.

  • IE9 sucks. All the IE's suck. Microsoft better stick to making OS's. Firefox 4 is the best. I tried it. Very fast even over my crappy EDGE connection on my PC via my cell.

  • I've been playing with IE9 for a month or two and it really is a good improvement. I'm curious about Fire Fox 4.0 though so I can't say I'm ready to switch. But I would prefer IE9 over Chrome or Oprah.

Its huge weakness is that Xp users are being left out to dry. So on my laptop it looks like I'm going to be sticking to Fire Fox for some time.

  • Well MS your doomed Goggle WILL sue you

  • BTW, BING IS THIS STUPIDEST SHIT EVER.

  • It's all about chrome. Ie is always super slow cluttered and retarded. Even tho this isn't as cluttered, it's probably still slow. Ie also prob has a shitty dwld manager, as always.

  • I hate Microsoft, they suck and shoudent even try anymore. Bill Gates is gone so just give up guys! Google Chrome is better and I personally like Safari better as well (the only reason is because its from apple)

  • All they can do is slowing the market share loses.

  • Hmm... ye sound a big improvement... Comment posted from Google Chrome...

  • ff+adblockplus+fanboylist=FTW

  • IE sucks. Chrome is the way to go.

  • I downloaded mine and it wont play you tube videos. I keep on installing the Flash player but it just won't work. Can anyone tell me how to fix that please?

  • Everyone is saying that IE9 and Firefox 4 are copies of Chrome. So they're copies for seeing something good (minimizing space) and trying to put their own twist on it in a way that will still get people to use it?

  • This isn't new.. Internet explorer is finally catching up on what it has been missing for years... Internet explorer was always a backwards browser this only makes it slightly less backwards...

  • All this stuff has been in Mozilla and Chrome for ages...

  • @themaskedguitarman better late than never?

  • ur a idiot mozilla firefox is the best!

  • @zimzooble5 Don't call him an idiot for giving his honest opinion on IE9.

  • i dont know why ....??? but every time i open IE9 and immediately click settings option it takes ages to open the settings menu!! ???

  • I really hate IE. It never works properly on my computer...

  • Cool. I'm gonna install it now.

  • It's sad to see all the bad rep some tech sites and people give Microsoft. They still make amazing stuff and this browser is a testament to that

  • IE9 may have some great new features but it STILL doesn't render all websites correctly, the most important, fundamental feature of a browser!

  • Doesn't work with facebook properply

  • it is pretty much playing catch up to google chrome. I am in the process of downloading maybe it will be faster.

  • I've used it and it stops responding every 5 minutes

  • Looks like a 100 % ripe off of chrome,

  • Sooo... Microsoft basically saw the success of Google Chrome's clean / uncluttered look and copied it... When will we actually see some innovation in the tech industry? Anyone else tired of incremental change?

  • Safari and chrome are alot better. They use webkit and render JavaScript alot faster, hence webpages load faster. Also, dragging the URL into the task bar to create an app out of the webpage is nothing new. Both google prism and fluid do a better job getting the task done and even let you customize the image of the icon before making it an app.

  • chrome beta = best browser ever, constantly being updated to stay that way.

  • @psychoclown420 FireFox is the best

  • @TheWaffleSam Internet Explorer 9 is actually brilliant. Not as good as Firefox, but very good nonetheless.

  • @TheWaffleSam Chrome!!!

  • It would look much better if they moved the icons up in line with the exit, maximise and minimise buttons... Google Chrome did it, there's basically no title in the title bar, so I don't see why they haven't :S

  • chrome rock`s

  • Is it me or did Bing not only steal Googles search results but they made IE a lot more like Chrome?

  • Lack of add-on support = no deal

I've used it, but better luck next

    time IE.

  • copy of chrome

  • @05sykesj if u wanna see a copy of chrome look at firefox 4. this is nothing like chrome.

  • @05sykesj Chrome copied Opera.

  • @05sykesj who cares!

  • @05sykesj yap it is.

really i hate microsoft eaven more

cant they dont do anyting by them selfs?

do thay always have to copy things of mac andt in this way from the Chrome Browser?

really wish i still got windows 95.

    Cheers!

  • @05sykesj Internet Explorer was the first browser in the world, so actually all other browsers are copies of IE. Also, tell me what Microsoft did "copy" from Google Chrome.. It's two WAY different browsers. I have no idea how u got 8 thumbs up on that comment... probably Chrome fanboys. I'm not a big fan of Internet Explorer myself, i'm using chrome and safari, but IE9 and Chrome is WAY different.

  • Maybe I will try it... maybe... I have always disliked ie and use chrome,

  • bing sucks!!!!

  • Anyone still use IE6?

    haha

  • Looks like ie finally caught up, but theres just no way I'm switching to a browser without adblock. Plus Chrome still looks better.

  • Comment removed

  • Windows xp not supported :(

  • I personally dont want to have a Chinese version of Google Chrome/Opera/Safari...

    THANKS BUT NO!!!!!!!

  • Actually, it's got probably the best HTML renderer of all the browsers. It's very smooth. Still, it's no Chrome or Chromium.

  • @TheWaffleSam I believe you mean Chrome.

  • @TheWaffleSam Ur mums a lie!

  • Wow you have a lot of apple fanboys on your site lack with all their "it's still not safari ". You guys think ie is junk, get the news so is safari it sucks, if you had of said chrome, opera or firefox I could understand but safari give me a break!

  • @TheWaffleSam yep

  • nothing here that safari is not capable of...

  • IE9 is still behind safari 5.0.4

  • @TheWaffleSam the new one is actually better (ie 9)

  • I've been beta testing for a while, and I quite like it. At this point, nothing will pull me away from Chrome, but I think IE9 is the best next alternative. Firefox is way too slow at this point.

  • I used internet explorer 9 beta in 2010

  • Aculey that an addon that you have enabled

  • No!! The RC Cruser Came out on Feb. 11 2011 The Beta Fof IE 9 Came out on Sept 15th 2010!!

  • Google Chrome Canary build Ftw. Google search it. If you can handle being two release's ahead of the rest

  • Google Chrome FTW!

  • Not bad Microsoft, not bad...

  • @TheWaffleSam safari? clueless!

  • i need to retest the final release, but the candidate was very disappointing, even a die hard IE fan like myself just resorted to firefox, ie9 just fails, I could not play GTAIV because of it! only ie could do that

  • I JUST HAD SEX AND IT FELT SO GOOD

  • @TheWaffleSam Safari is only good for going into apple.com

  • @TheWaffleSam Safari is the greatest fauilure of a browser

  • @TheWaffleSam Stfu apple fanboy

  • Just the sight of Windows is making me sick... I hate the way Microsoft has taken the OS and GUI. They are taking the toolbar (File, Edit, View, etc...) out of everything. It started with Office. And the GUI is just ugly imo.

  • @TheWaffleSam It cant do that.

  • Naw, Chrome is still better. Same features but better experience.

  • Sooo, it's Chrome, but with a new skin?

    GG MS xD

  • Wow. I've been using Firefox for years, and have recently switched over to Chrome, but IE9 might just become my second browser. Definitely going to give it a try.

...I can't believe I'm actually saying that I'm going to use IE, at all. lol!

  • Look wise from the video, it looks like chrome but by windows. And more blocky.

I mighty try it, but I'm pretty satisfied with chrome as of right now. Still need to try the latest Firefox.

  • @ZarkPud It's not by Windows, it's by Microsoft, Windows is an OS.

  • @CJCA915 Isn't windows made my Microsoft as well?

  • @CJCA915 But yes I am awake I intended to say "Microsoft" and not "Windows" :P

  • You forgot to mention that pinning a compatible site allows you to use jumplists with it! I've been using IE9 off and on since the beta and I'm really enjoying it, this coming from a once very deticated chrome fan!

  • I'm testing out IE9 right now and ..its ok ...text looks almost as blurry as safari though which i assume they did to make it render faster...

    Chrome is still better

  • IE ver. 9 or 90=no.Chrome is fast and sleek and if it crashes for a video fault i.e. it only crashes that page and Chrome keeps on ticking.Restore last pages and ext.'s and other perks and IE is a ghost.Firefox is Ok and Safari is barely usable,so I'll stick w/ Chrome thx you very much.

  • I want IE9 for Mac!

  • IE 9 is a great release. I think I'm going to replace Chrome with it.

You should look into making your site fully compatible with the Pinn feature. From what I understand, it's just 5 lines of code and you're all set.

  • Man, when IE finally gets an download manager it's BAD and HUGE, useless eye-candy.. It don't have an processbar and no filetype-icon beside of the name. Man Firefox's default is small, simple, have processbar and got an search ....

    - I can drag the fav-icon from Safari/Firefox/google Chrome on my mac to the desktop or the dock... nothing 'new' imo...

Google Chrome and Firefox is the way to go!

  • Comment removed

  • @HaywardJack Actually, IE9 is in full release.

  • it won't work for windows xp which i and 40% of the world still use.

  • @petefentonp Yet another reason to upgrade!

  • It looks like an uglier copy of Chrome, with less security and addons, slower speeds, and a bookmark feature that nobody is going to use because nobody wants to clutter their taskbar with web shortcuts.

  • @PoliticalHell you sir are correct

  • @PoliticalHell Hi, this is nobody! You have no imagination. Imagine having Pandora in your taskbar without having to pay the fee for the app. Or a link to Twitter, gMail or Google Docs. Websites that you use everyday.

  • @korwinblue Hmm. Or you can do what everyone already does, have one button to open the browser, and automatically restore or load your most frequent or favorite pages. You know, that feature that IE doesn't have.

  • @PoliticalHell I seem to recall you being able to open multiple homepages in IE8 at once. Me, I have many Tabs open at once. It's good to know that I'll always be able to quickly go to my Facebook/Twitter/email just by moving my mouse down to the taskbar. Or accidently closing the browser window that has those sites. My browser tabs won't be as cluttered.

  • @korwinblue Well I'm not going to argue with you seeing as it is your opinion, and all the power to you. However, Chrome already has a lot of these features integrated, such as restoring tabs from history if you close entire windows, etc. If you choose to enjoy this feature over the benefits of other browsers, then that's your choice, obviously. In my opinion, though, IE is a piece of crap, and always has been.

  • @PoliticalHell I've actually tested the speed of ie & it's faster than chrome, as for security how do you know that especially when they've gone towards improving it this release, and yes it doesn't have all the features chrome has but I still think it's a decent browser for the average consumer to use who doesn't care about all that stuff.

  • @codebean One obnoxious full system update of an installation later, and my testing it isn't that comparable to Chrome. Speeds were the same for me. It tried so hard to copy Chrome almost exactly, but isn't there (i.e. the new tab doesn't allow bookmarks). Favorites system still blows. Defaults search to Bing, no selection. Flash not installed by default. etc.

I'm sorry, but to the average consumer it's sad they won't know better. Not to mention the horrendous download process.

    Yup, still bad.

  • @PoliticalHell Well I think that's a matter of opinion coz I don't know how anyone could think that the bookmarking system on chrome is any better & flash isn't installed on many browsers chrome is the only one i know of. Yes there are a few things that could still be worked on same goes with all browsers really imo it's all about choice & which you prefer.

  • @PoliticalHell Still, it's better than IE8, which isn't all that difficult. It's interesting how most of their comparisons were against older versions of IE rather than against the competing browsers lol.

  • @PoliticalHell "Defaults search to Bing, no selection". Firefox 4 defaults to bing for me with no others in the list, I can add google of course & yeah I can change my default search from bing to google, infact ie9 has a whole list of searchproviders you can choose to install from yahoo to google etc take a look: goo . gl / 391DI

  • @TheWaffleSam You clearly havent used IE 9...

  • @HaywardJack i have tried it out today, i must say they have improved a lot but is no Chrome or Safari

  • @applegeek18 Its a lot better than safari, that is so bad.

  • Good job! Very interesting.

  • Looks great! If I owned a pc I would enjoy it. Nice video, Dave!

    Thumbs up!

    Tim

  • @chessdude67 wheres your "" logo?

    just wonderin'

    :D

  • Great work lack, i was hoping one of the youtube tech gurus went over ie9
