@TiimEnkel333 i would recommend downloading both from their respective websites if you wouldn't want to wait for the boxed ones to ship to your location. respective websites are xlnaudio(dot)com for AD and steinberg(dot)net for Cubase or you can locate a local dealer to get it yourself. i won't encourage you to use pirated versions even though they are widely available on the net. having no support and no updates and bugfixes etc. could be a pian in the butt.
@sirhappy1985 hey there. well i would say all three of them should be able to handle vsti (virtual studio technology instruments/effects) but i have never used LE series in cubase and based on a cursory reading of the search results over the net, it is tricky with presonus studio one artist as well (maybe full support with external vstis only avaliable on pro version). so i would recommend to further search within manufacturer's web sites and support forums to make sure.
When i go to add insturment i dont see addictive drums. I was using it with FL audio and it worked fine, so im pretty sure its not addictive drums. Do i have to do antyhing to see it in there? If it should just be there ill try uninstalling and reinstalling addictive drums. thanks
@QuickSpoolin within a normal installation, AD should be able to install its necessary files to Cubase's plugins folder (assuming we are talking about Cubase here) so that when you run it, it should be available there to begin with. it might be because the installation choices that it copied its files to FL's respective directories and not Cubase's. then again it seems like an installation issue. you can also do it manually but a clean reinstall probably would do the trick.
Dont worry with Long Videos ! when a video its Important and Help people like to see a long video! you are amazing ! we have a band name The ZOO and you help us very Mutch !we trie to download the drum Map but dont work ! please help us ! we have a Yamaha DTX Express IV . THE BEST VIDEO TUTORIAL MADE !!!
I'm using a dtxplorer and when I hit the pad I don't even get a signal! I can hit the pad as much as I want, but nothing moves on Cubase. Everything is plugged in and working fine on the dtxplorer. I can see on the brain that the pad is being hit, but it's just nothing on the computer. I'm using a midi to USB cable.. any suggestions?
@IIRiotRobII well, honestly i have never used usb2midi cables therefore i unfortunately cannot say for sure. it seems like a failing cable so my first recommendation would be to try another one. if you still cannot get it to work then you could check for other elements in your os, pc, drivers or overall setup. sorry that couldn't be of more help.
Sorry I missed that part in the video, I only watched it once and while you were giving the tutorial I was taking notes on my notepad, because I have been waiting for years to manage to get this to work for me, I was so exited to get started and make things finally work for me. Sorry again.
@TomCoppell no worries. :) i may not have been that clear anyway. hope the files have been useful somehow to get your issues with drum mapping and working as expected. if you need anything further, please let me know. cheers.
@TomCoppell i think you could jump to 7:40 as i precisely start talking about that. no worries if you cannot manage to do so as i'll be describing that one in a little more detail in part 2. cheers.
Thanks for that. I'll look forward to seeing the second part. I'm very grateful for your help, not many people would go out of there way for other people, especially something this complex :)
@TomCoppell i am very much glad to be of help somehow. as i say in the video, it wasn't all that thought through and more of an improvised one but i guess it may help others with regard to the common issues to tackle. it may seem complex though it surely is not. just requires a bit of playing around or trial&error if you have the time and energy to do that of course. :) anyway i do enjoy sharing knowledge with people that are of the same interest so no worries there. :) cheers
@TomCoppell hello. i was just about to describe exactly that in the second part but haven't got the chance to encode and upload that one yet but in the meantime please check out the description for a link to be able to download some of the maps i have created. please bear with me for a couple of more days. it would be here soon i promise. thanks for watching. and please don't hesitate to contact me if you need more help. cheers
What I think would be easier for a lot of people is that if you could upload the drum-map file to rapidshare, zshare or something, then people can download it from there instead of creating it themselves. Just a suggestion.
@CodeMaster5 hey there. many thanks. i am so glad if i could be of help somehow. that is a great idea as i have been sharing some of the maps i have put together to a number of drummers that has connected me through my mail address but this way it would be much more easier to access. well i am going to post a second (or a third if required) part as soon as possible to describe just exactly that so that you all could be able to do it yourselves anyway.
@tolgapala but i took your advice and just uploaded a couple of my maps to rapidshare and edited the video description to include the link to it. you could play around with them to get exactly what you would like to have in the end but these i believe are sufficient to get you going. many thanks.

Great tutorial, really helped me out!

And by the way, your drumming is fantastic! :)
