I am self taught and I've been at over 45 years so all the bad habits are now really bad habits lol.lol But as I only tie for me and I can tie all the way to Mater Class , you know the book , but you are right I'm Bad lol .... Just for fun look up Redding and see where it is that I live . Truly The Blue Ribben Trout waters of Calif. .. Not great on Carp though that would be an hour or two south

Please don't take this the wrong way but you could do with a couple of hours with a profesional fly tyier, it would save you a lot of time.

This, what you show s called "F" adjustable hair rig by FUGAS.
Well, "F" hair rig looks little bit different. Problem with yours start with casting with one big or two smaller boilies.
I'm using this system more than 12 years already. :)
