In the spring of '09 I walked around the Brooklyn Botanic Garden during the height of the Cherry Blossom season listening to LP3. I had no idea they'd been there, nor that they even lived in Brooklyn. I was just at the Museum on a University tour and afterwards I decided it was a beautiful day for a sleep deprived stroll 'round the Garden. It just occurred to me that LP3 would be an appropriate soundtrack. Maybe they captured something about the neighborhood in season.

I just went to their concert in Pontiac yesterday, SO AMAZING. I met Mike after the concert and he was so nice. He signed all my friends' shit and gave me a hug. It was the best.
