yep, a nice attacky&deep kick will help it along nicely. Also I could try write a bass line. I really like these 2 tracks, the original mixes. The other is 3am eternal.
i wanna write these 2 with trance gate & stutter edits, but try and not fu(k them up too much
got this on 12 inch vinyl very rare and would never sell but a klf masterpiece can u believe they where the same people who did doctor who and the tardis track in the 80s lol
@banshi68 Clearly you jumped on the bandwagon once they released the chart version... If you were there at Energy, Sunrise, Genesis etc then you would have memories from deep inside......... Do agree with 808catboy though, it needed to build with a much greater kick....
@Clarkeyboy0007 Hate to break it to you darln but house/raves/warehouse parties weren't exclusive to UK. It was a world wide phenomenon that was happening simultaneously in many countries so don't assume Im a pommy.
having KLFemblazoned on the tower block while maggie thatcher was below in what was supposed to be the biggest security operation of its time classic, nice one for burning the millon quid who gives a fuck.
Never heard this version before.....Ahh the sounds of the 80's...synthesizers....drum machines....killer samples and and early versions of 303's.....not to mention phat bass lines.....
Who else could rock a club, be there at the birth of house, get kids at school loving their music and get a number 1 hit in the charts with Tammy Freaking Wynette all at the same time?
@CEDX59 keep this piece of vinyl safe. KLF had a tendency to delete everything and burn a million to keep warm back in the day. So to find a proper original copy of what time is love is rather special and is like finding hen's teeth nowadays. You might want to insure it as it's pretty much irreplaceable.
this is such great track, its gotta be the epitamy of low fi trance rave tracks, its sooo awsome...... i cant get enough of it, i think i grew up with the more well know polished mix but this is heaps better!!!!!!
I was standing in a muddy field somewhere in Stoke-on-Trent sometime in late 88 when the DJ played this - 4 times in a row. I was captivated by the track as it stood apart from the 'usual' acid house tracks at the time. Still love it to this day.
@bootsamou Did you ever imagined yourself living in a old peoples reservoir (well) hanging in a seat and having to listen to Frank Sinatra & elvis all day? I kill myself before that day comes :) why am i talking about that?
sounds like rebirth/mod tracker mix
MonTicheDansTaMere 18 hours ago
it's cool, but it builds tension. The sound doesn't go wild enough IMO
Like, but. You know it misses a really solid kick.
Maybe I'll have a stab at remixing it, coz the env mod is cool
808catboy 5 days ago
@808catboy right , it's got the high notes but I was waiting for the beat to kick in, and it doesn't. Needs some kind of low bass beat.
