If you literally critique any art-form you can easily pass false assumptions. To typecast all hip-hop as a pervading ill in the black community discredits a gamut of artists who believe in a very different message. Combine sub-standard living with youthful angst, and peer pressure and the recipe for disrupting minds is already there. Is all hip-hop positive no, but is hip-hop the number one contributor to destroying our youths, again i say no.
