That is actually season one where she had an ectopic pregnancy and I think it was her hormones mixed with the fact of everything that had happened to her being to much to handle.

She had an ectopic pregnancy and her fallopian tube burst, so she was in the hospital and broke down crying for that episode. No one could do anything for her or get her to stop, but Burke finally came to lay with her at the end of the day.
