I saw Mark Isham in concert many years ago. He was "playing" a trumpet, but spent most of his time running the electronics. Very similar to Mr. Barone. Absolutely incredible!! Molto bene!!

@giacdoc I think the one in the soundhole is a Sunrise magnetic pickup. I think there's also another transducer mounted internally. You can tell by the two output cables coming from the guitar.

@iZenZation these are effect pedals, they do nothing to the notes - they stay pretty the same. In this case they probably apply delay and echo effect.

@iZenZation Its a pedal board with a 'phrase loop' function. Most full-function pedalboards will have that capability. Kick it on, play a phrase, kick it off...the phrase loops. Hence the name. Then stack 'em and voila.

"Music" in our todays meaning is about entertaining the Listener (Pop), this Form of "Music" is just about creating an expression in any way. At drawing and painting you have this too, it is the same looking at an "Pablo Picasso" and looking at an "Andy Wharol".

The reason you don’t see well known solo guitarists on TV is simple. They are solo guitarists! They only play a guitar which doesn’t appeal to a large audience.  If they sang that would be a different story. Most people who appreciate this style of music are fellow guitar players.
