No, it's like TOS for GCN: Press a certain Button during the Battle Menu and you can switch characters. Example: In TOS, Press Z to switch with Lloyd (Slot 1) with Presea (Slot 2). It's not considered Cheating.

Guy Can use Brilliant Overlord, by Equipping the Weapon: Jewel of Gardios, go Overlimit and Use Final Cross. Make sure you used Final Cross 200 Times or You can't use Brilliant Overlord.
