The is no "WE." There are shepherds, and there are sheep. There are paid Christians, and there are unpaid Christians. Matthew 9:38 makes it plain that every shepherd is to go and labor in the harvest field. these workers subsist on the generosity of lay people. Lay people, then, play only a supporting role; the shepherds do the work. Remember: no work can be done without pay, because this would violate Deuteronomy 25:4. Only paid Christians are called to go.

The so called "Great Commission" is for paid Christians only. We know this because Jesus said, "The worker deserves his wages" (Luke 10:7). Additionally, the over 10 billion dollars we gave to fat lazy clergymen last year could have gone to the mission field. I could send 6 million missionaries out to India for a year with these funds that are wasted on sermon writing, golf-playing , worthless clergy who rob the poor and take bread out of the mouths of children.

Nice video and great quotes and scripture. However, times have changed and the Kingdom is advancing faster than many think. The majority of pioneer mission work is being done by national missionaries. We shouldn't assume that we are called to go to other nations. In most cases it is best to stay where you are and financially and prayerfully support the mission efforts that are reaching the remaining people groups. Also look at Gospel radio broadcasts and internet evangelism.

Just remember though you don't have to go overseas to be a missionary like people tend to think you have to do. There is still many many people even in western developed countries who still have never heard the gospel at all.

Yes I care,and am open to listen. First, it is important to determine if you have been under a cult outside true christianity.Also another thing:Without naming it, there is a system totally corrupt,which finds no true support from the Bible, but parades itself under the name of God and Christ. Before being a believer,I belonged by birth to that system,could not believe it, and for awhile I was atheist and agnostic. When I discovered Christ and the Bible(what is in it),it made sense.I care

I will add another thing to my previous comment. Sometimes, you can be associated with True christianity, but belong to a church where a corrupt leader (false teacher or very bad example of a christian) destroys confidence in people through harsh treatment, greed, sexual favors, or other things which are reprehensible and condemned in scripture. Unfortunately, it can happen, and the Bible warns and gives clues on the nature of these individuals. (Jude, 2 Pet 2, I Tim 4, etc. But they will pay.

If Christians won't even listen to what they already claim to believe how can we assure that they will spread the Word and power of God and Jesus Christ? We as Christians must surround ourself with His word and teach the world all that He can do for each and every one of us. It starts with us who already know about His grace and mercy. How many are willing to spread the power of God? One person can help a lot, even if it seems impossible.

The Word of the Lord has great power and it attracts many who would use that power to do evil. How many false prophets came in the name of the Lord to teach a different Jesus. Paul warns us of such.
