everyone agree to disagree that when a band changes lead singers, the sting that they convey changes with the next singer. such as escape the fate and chiodos. bands change and evolve but in these two cases each singer in question that went on to create new music still kept the same sound WITH IMPROVEMENTS along with the band from which they came. thank you.
Honestly, I think Chiodos is better without Craig. Funny, because Craig's probably my favorite vocalist ever. The thing is, Brandon brings out the best in Chiodos. At the same time, though, DRUGS has brought out the best in Craig. Craig and Chiodos both make much better music separated than they ever did together.
Thumbs up if you think Craig Owen's vocals have come a VERY long way. He doesn't sound amazing here, but when I listen to DRUGS it's like 'Waoh, turn this off for the sake of my pants!'

@jerrytheman1987 Craig was not the reason Chiodos was successful. Brad's piano/keyboard playing/programming and Jason's guitar work are what made Chiodos. Craig was an important part but he wasn't irreplaceable. Brandon is a good replacement and more importantly a good person. Craig thinks he's a celebrity and has a gigantic ego. I'll take Brandon.
i never got to see craig perform with chiodos, but in november i saw chiodos with brandon performing and i must say, he did amazing. all together that performance was damn near PERFECT!

These guys have to support their families and the music industry is in the shitter right now. If they're not touring, they're not making money. It wasn't just Brads decision, Jason, Matt, and Pat have all been in the band since the beginning, it was a group decision and a good decision.

This is the first time I've heard them, and I gotta say the guy sings really well, but his voice does not match him at all, thats my only problem, other than that this song was really good.
My awesome 18 yr old son turned me onto these guys and I have been writing since I was 15 and this dude writes beyond talent; he is deep and his music makes sense and applies to all different lives and situations. That said, his voice, and the talent of this band is why they should do all they can to stay together (maybe they are still broken up or maybe they did reunite; Idk but I am just saying that together they make great music. My awesome 18 yr old son turned me onto these guys and I have been writing since I was 15 and this dude writes beyond talent; he is deep and his music makes sense and applies to all different lives and situations. That said, his voice, and the talent of this band is why they should do all they can to stay together (maybe they are still broken up or maybe they did reunite; Idk but I am just saying that together they make great music. That's all...and to that we all agree, right?
