  • That's a crime!!!!

  • i love that root growth

  • The moss provides ALL the nutrients the plant needs then? Nothing else is needed in the pot?

  • No good japanese bonsai(bone-sigh not bahn- zai) would want to have a root system like that, beside the possibility of the tree gridling it's self to death, look at it! It's a mess that hasn't been tended to or treated with any bonsai techniques like the rest of this elm. It may be able to be used for root over rock it is probably past the stage to make a good shohin bonsai with. Fortunately elm bonsai break back well on old wood. good luck

  • do u grow all your bonsai in just moss

  • how do u get moss to grow on your bonsai trees?

  • find some moss growing nearby your home, take it and grind it betwean your arms over the tree. spores of the moss will get on the ground and tree and, if humidity is enough, moss will begin growing soon. works for me

  • i found a little maple tree growing in my backyard and i put it in a pot and cut it in half and no branches were left cause i wanted it small and some branches are gowing around it and wat im wondering is how do i make it look as if it wasent cut in half cause it looks like therse a little stump at the very top of it
