I live in Belgium. Was not ready for bed a few evenings ago so went looking for something to watch late on T.V. This amazing documentary came on & it lasted for ages. I was fascinated by Mom & daughter as I'd never heard of the family before.The docu was not even mentioned in the Belgian T.V. programmes. Edie was soooo special & her Mom was a great character. Who was the long haired guy that was hanging around their untidy house?

The only problem I have with the HBO movie, as amazing as it was, it didn't fcus enough on how intelligent, wise, and truly funny Little Edie was. It just made it look like Little and Big Edie hated eachother. Until the end, of course. :)
