Ok, glad that's out there. The beat isn't bad, but if you keep holding the sticks that way you could seriously hurt your hands. I would suggest not constantly playing at full volume, improving your technique, and learn to be a little subtler and intricate. It's a good start, though.

Good job little man! Keep up with the practice, and IGNORE the negative comments below. DO pay attention to your grip, but also be aware that, among the 100 greatest drummers, there are probably 20 different grips. There are not just 2. Jim Gadson stretched his pointing finger out across the stick length. Manu Katche's grip has always looked a little weird to me... a sorta modified French grip, but he is among the best in the business. So take it seriously but not THAT seriously.
