I object to the unions getting a majority stake in the company. I would rather see the bond holders get the money and the company sold off.
The mere fact that the union is getting a majority stake in the company seals its fate. BTW, this is political payback to the unions from the Obama administration. We should worry when the company can disregard investors who have collateral rights to a company in favor of giving the rights to the company to a group of people with no collateral rights.

At that point, Socialize all cars, and pay taxidrivers to do the driving of em, and make that a right for all people, and a job anyone can have, as long as they do it pretty regularly. The cars would be public property really, so anyone could take over if necessary or if needed.

Furthermore, you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground about property rights, the constitution or business in general.
Bondholders-receiving 30 cents on the dollar for SECURED credit.
UAW-receiving 50 cents on the dollar for UNSECURED credit.
