  • ali Campbell voz legendaria del reggae // Ali Campbell, legendary voice of reggae

  • it was ok

  • if not for the neil diamond genius this song wouldnt exist , but it wouldnt be the 1st time a cover is more popular than the original and is not gonna be the last time either Luv diamond and ub40 Peace

  • this version is crackin as soon as astro starts singing makes this song amazin lifelong UB40 fan my mum brainwashed me wi em wen i were younger n loved em ever since :)

  • agree whit you

  • GOD make them for helping this sad world.

  • i want even born then but there still brilliant now absolutley luv em xxxxxxxx

  • Neil Diamond wrote this song, he actually likes UB40'S version though.

I actually had a UB40 my self back in the 80's...lo

  • I was born in 1983 :)

  • good versionn

  • Neil Diamond was around in the late 60's with the song. How could UB40 have had the song prior to Diamond.

    Must be the plastic surgery!

  • incredible ignorance Tarkan11 .....and Sniper.....Diamond added a verse after UB40 version .."Red Red Wine makes me feel so good even if the words aren't understood" Original - You've taken my heart but can't take my soul... that's some deep shit, that most any alcoholic could help you understand.

  • Brill, takes me back to my school disco and my first real snog, whatever happened to stuart?LOL...Nostalgia is a great thing!

  • Whatever happened to that romance ? lol

  • Nothing, we were kids,I moved away, that was my last night with him, but I still think about him having to stand on a brick to kiss me. Not to this song though!!

  • Tja,was soll man sagen..UB40 halt...einzigartig,genial

  • original by neil daimond is boring and shit..

If it wasnt for UB40 this song would have never been famous.

  • it is a sad song about missing a loved one like Neil intended. Those reggae guys turned the song around and added more lines to make it sound like a happy party song, which by the way Neil Diamond didn't appreciate if you do your research.

  • hahahaha

besides da beats, how is ub40s version a party song.

its still about missing a loves one and turning to alcohol to drown the sorrows.

  • neil diamond made it a song......

    ub40 made it a hit.....

if it wasnt for ub40 i wouldnt even know this song existed besides anytime somebody refers to red red wine there not talking about the neil diamond version

  • Yes true, but the whole point of covering a song is to put your own emphasis on it. UB40 did an brilliant version- making the song their own really. The fact that they interpreted it differently to Diamond is neither here nor there. Good point well made though.

  • for forget the Tony Tribe version in the early 70s.

  • nice reggae song! there have some msg that drink wine can forget a lost love..but remember that,it is for a while!

  • BEST REGGAE SONG EVER

  • Simply love it.

    Nirma 58

  • perfect reggae performance . :)
