This third piece of the Suite Bergamasque is easily among the loveliest pieces of music. Along with Pachelbel's Canon, Beethoven's ninth, etc. The London Philharmonic did its usual superb treatment! Kind of lifts the spirit. Powerful, poignant, inspiring!!
It got the right effect. To me this piece speaks of utopia. It's not a lullaby that needs to be played so slow that you fall asleep. It's a dreamy state of bliss...and it keeps you awake. Obviously, this was well played. What else do you expect from the London Philharmonic?

This is a solid standard version but the Latvian philharmonic has a more creative take.

It's hard to find pieces by some of the really good orchestra's. This was an excellent rendition of Claire de Lune.
