300C SRT8 with Resonator Delete

Im in Toronto Ontario, and Im strongly thinking about getting a Magnum SRT8, so Id just like to know if you have anything negative to say about the SRT8, and the price of gas here is $1.27 a Litre. Im assuming its close to that where you are as well. But anyways, since you have an SRT 8, do you spend ALOT of money on gas or tremendously alot or I guess does it vary. I just dont want to spend 1 third of my paycheque on gas alone. Any sensor problems, and hows the tranny so far?

I think I am going to straight pipe my 300C this weekend, Buy replacement pipe to go where the mufflers were, Should I do the same with the Resonators at the back or leave them ? Im not sure what they do.

@pjwallington ...... u will find 2 Resonators behind the exhaust Tips. They just supress the loud noise (which we like). This video is with the resonator delete n the muffler is still there. but i took my muffler of as well.(dnt have a video for that) and i LOVED it. i got Big Tips Sticking out ( see the video). But thats personal choice.

if u like to turn the car alarms ON every morning when u pass by them, GO FOR IT ..!!!

@jattboyzca Reso`s too ? Or leave them on... I want it to sound good at the same time > After you rev it, I dont want a crappy sound while Rpm`s are lowering If I can help it..

@jattboyzca Oh, and mines the 5.7L :( Performance Fuel Injectors,Fuel Pump, K&N Intake/Filter..

Just bought it in October.. A 6.7L, 410 Stroker down the road would be nice. Dont know the price though..

( Will I loose horsepower/torque after straight piping ?)

@pjwallington if u delete the Muffler n keep the Resonators, u will get almost the same thing as in the video. or maybe a bit more. but it should fix the crappy sound when RPM goes low.

i actually sold my car. but u can find a SRT8 or 5.7 with straight pipes videos on here.

taking the muffler of will increase ur HP and MPG. i was getting about 40km per tank more after the delete and the car felt more powerful.

i m not sure, but u can get to about 450HP with the exhaust, air filter and Tuner with the 5.7

there is a bit of drone when u r on highway.

after the resonator delete, i did the muffler delete. so its a STRAIGHT PIPE now.

to be honest, i dont complain now.

@funclo if he added the piping himself what do you expect, unless you pre render with a computer its hard to scale out what the end result will look like until it comes together

Even still that looks fine to me as it looks like catbacks anyway I don't see mufflers, but I can't tell cause Im not so familiar with the chrysler 300 so they could be hiding up further somewhere

 I am about to rip the resonators out of my 98 lincoln continental and it supposedly boosts up horses about 50-ish...!
