I still have this on VHS. My uncle gave it to me when I was a kid. Flair beat Terry Funk in the Main Event & got jumped by Muta & Funk & Sting came to help him which started Sting & Flair teaming up which led to Sting becoming a Horseman. Damn I miss these days. I loved watching Sting, the Horseman, Steamboat, Road Warriors, Steiners, Etc

Good old JR - - - In 7 months - 15,000 views - give or take. Not bad. Muta and Sting are tremendous . . . Hart . . . Not sos much. Great heel manager though - But he tended to oversell. Thanks. I love these matches from days when the gimmick ended when the bell rang. They actually wrestled.

Great match, great call by Ross and Caudle, stupid finish with the "botched" count, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Muta in his prime, just amazing to watch. LOVE his theme too, "Luminous Forces I." So awesome.

I agree! Awesome pay per view! 89 was such a great wrestling year for the NWA which is why I cant let go of the fact that it ended so badly with Starrcade 89. With all this great talent Starrcade 89 could of been an EPIC show!
