I'll race you anyday in my T/A. Its completely false when people try saying American cars can't handle. I live in Utah and the canyon above our Hogle Zoo have tight turns. In fact Tokyo Drift was filmed there. I fly around those tight corners doing 50 with no problem in traction. Sway bar in engine bay, sway bar across length of car, and a Magnaflow exhaust are my only mods.
@recniabsal ok i have driven both and owned a trans am and yeah its ok but the bmw is just breathtaking handling. not even a question the trans am is great for raw speed and messing around like you do but what it all comes down to is the bmw is just superior
@jlubez There will always be a car that handles better than another. Whats the point you're trying to make? The BMW is better? Its slower and ugly as hell. And the driver equals good handling not the car. I don't get the point you're trying to make.
u would of lost anyway in the long run bmw`s are good but u have the limiter it acts as a nanny and will limit 328is to 155 when the trans am ws6 look like 2001 year can go about 165 if he has ram air wich he most likely does.
ha wasnt even fair were talkin maybe 200hp vs 350hp. show me a turn!!!!

Actually, the 328is is limited to 128mph, at least the 1998 model. Plus, the bmw isn't really a drag car, it'll dominate in the corners.

I've gone a GPS verified 132 in my 98' 328is FYI, and I haven't had it reflashed or anything...so...?
But, yeah, it'll dominate in the corners against the pig of a TA.

You are correct, I tested your statement about a week ago, I saw 130-133 at almost 5800rpms.
