the art in this film is like none other! I can't imagine the skill and patience it must take to accomplish graphics like that!

First of all, there was invented photo camera, after that was invented multiframe camera..... CORALINE MOOVIE IS WONDERFUL, but i think THERE was too much unnessesary work done...... There is advanced technologies, which allows you to get the same result in a shorter time....

Man... The stop motion is so full of charm... It looks a terribly hard job to make all those things work! But when you see a masterpiece like Coraline you get so exited! I loved the book, I loved the movie! 5 thousand stars...

@XIXKiraXIX I'd disagree, I liked Coraline allot more as a movie (don't get me wrong, the Nightmare was great)- it's message of be careful what you wish for was just to timeless and powerful. It really made children and adult think (what would you sew buttons in your eyes for) and was just so creepily brought to life through stop motion. For me it's no contest :P

its a tremendously beautiful movie and i really appreciate all the work that went into it... it just wasnt very good. at one point it reminded me of a video game. but again, its amazing to just look at.

I soo want to see this movie. Especially in it's original language. They've just translated it to Dutch and it sounds plain horrible. They even renamed Coraline. The title now is (translated, only kept her name the Dutch way) Coralien(pronounced as Coraleen) and the secret door. Sounds plain horrible to me.

I saw this in theaters in 3-D, and the naked fat lady was quite, ummm,

DISTURBING. The film was worth paying over thirty of my own dollars to see, and was definately thrilling at the ending with the "other mother".
