Just wondering... how does broadway (well, Wicked) rehearse with understudies? my high school does understudies and we just do a scene multiple times so the principle and understudy can rehearse. is that how broadway does it?

you can see the blue diomands on fiyero's (Norbert butz's) face at 6:13 - 6:20 they tried putting them on his face and arms (because it was in the book) and they looked Great! but from far away it looked like he had bruses on him so it didnt work

@pjcp97 it was taken out of wicked before going to brodway so they did not record it, it was replaced by dancing through life cauz the audence didnt get what fiyero was all about

So all the dancing in the studio while the choreographer si talking... I understand now what my musical theatre dance teacher was talking about! She was part of the VERY early workshops of the show then was cut due to her personal conflicts. She kept talking about a "pop and lock Scarecrow" type dance and everyone was so confused...

And yay, SJB! (the woman in the blue camisole and baseball cap.) I recognize her by her smile, haha.

What do you look for in an actress and singer? Ive been singing and acting since i was 3. Ive always wanted to do theater work instead of movie. I trained for acting from the Academy of Cinema and Television. My teacher was Trish Blaine of Tbproductions. It would be a wonderful experience.

Broadway: The American Musical it's a DVD documentary about Broadway Musicals, it aired on I think PBS or CBS in 2004 and then they put it on DVD!
