  • I don't understand; YouTube only just now served this viddie up on my subscription. Weird. So I saw the results of your 7000 calorie challenge before I saw your throwdown-to-self.

    Anyway, congrats on being a rilly, rilly good dancer! Also, your cheeks are an adorable pink hue today. Well, actually 10 days ago. Hopefully still. Rock on.

  • I started yesterday and I am going through Saturday (1012 calories yesterday!! :P)

    But if you go until Sunday....I will extend an extra day and do it with you!

  • ah yes I am behind on watching videos, I saw this late. I'll start today! Yesterday I jogged for 25 min straight... but only worked out for about 35 min total so it wasn't 1000 calories. How are you keeping track of the calories burned?

  • I am going by the workout machines I use. It is not an exact science, but it will take your age and weight into consideration.

  • Well no matter how you figure it out, it will only be an estimate anyway. I use a Heart Rate Monitor with a chest strap. :) I enter in my weight. Not age though, I hope that doesn't make a big difference. It doesn't have that feature. I need to kick things up a notch because this last week was "self sabatoge with food week" for me. I don't even want to weigh in tomorrow. I did great at the gym though.

  • well, cool!! It is going to take some focus! I was working out for 1:40 straight to hit the 1000 (had to do 15 minutes on stationary bike because my heartrate was waay to high). I am doing vids of me after my workout that I may or may not use in my weigh in vlog.

  • 1:40 is nothin! My workouts are usually around one and a half to two hours, but only five days not seven. So that will be the challenge for me. I'll record the info on my hrm and put that in my video maybe. Sometimes when I am running, my heart rate gets up over 200... but I usually keep it at 170-180.

  • I was at 180....but I think because I am older, it is less healthy...not sure. At least the maching said I was too high. :P

  • Yep, your max heart rate would be lower than mine because of the age difference. The old formula is 220 - your age (I still go by this). So mine is 195. You're suppose to work out around 80%-85% of your max (or something like that). Hmm that means I am usually working out over that range...at about 90%. I wonder if that is bad.

  • That is awesome man great job! Just be careful you don't over do it with the gym. You need to give your body a chance to heal between workouts, unless the plan is just cardio my man. Also make sure you got food in your body before you go! Great job and keep it up!!

You are definitely machine status with the weight loss, and cockiness is something that comes out of that, I have experienced it! haha, But you have reason to be cocky, so just let it be and keep up your weight loss....7000 calories this week, is definitely a lofty goal, but I am sure with your determination you will be able to hit it!   • Tru dat. I considered it, but I travel some for work (less than you, and only within the state, not cross country) and that complicates things when I'm out of town. That's true, if you can't commit to it 100% it is not worth doing.
