I love the storey of how Sri Hanuman had his tail tied with an oil soaked rag, and set alight by the demon king Ravana, who had captured Sita. Lord Rama's consort, Ravana knew that it was forbidden to kill a messanger, (Demons fear bad luck) so knowing monkeys prized their tails, inflicted the punishment!... It backfired on him. Sri Hanuman used his firebrand to ignite not just clothes and furniture, He leapt from roof to roof, and set all of Lanka ablaze!
