  • hahaha imitating??????? are you not ashamed of waht you're talking about p-pop is different from k-pop no one copied from each other ...p-pop is more advantage than k-pop from english..........Mahiya naman kayo,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • @milevidlor And how exactly is P-Pop different from K-Pop? All these groups popped up after K-Pop began its promotions in the Philippines. How does P-Pop have the upper hand when it comes to English? Filipinos are supposed to speak English because you can't get anywhere in life if you only know Tagalog. Koreans can stand on their own, but they, too, are learning English.

Besides, you can't even speak proper English. Check your grammar, dear. Ikaw dapat mahiya, hindi ba?

  • please dont compare your selves to KPOP. why dont you create our own P-POP wave? because its showing that we filipinos folowing the wave of K-POP

  • @TheCherielove Because I support SoShi so much; I am against groups that are trying to copy them. Or, for example like this. Wonder Girls ( Original ) Pop girls ( Wtf )? Especially another group; I forgot the name, copied the song of Super Junior's Sorry Sorry. This really annoys me. These other groups need to be more creative on their own. Not copying. THIS IS WHAT CAUSES "HATERS"

  • i'm so sorry for that word.. pls. just don't imitate kpop.. :'( even if you said it's p-pop.. i'm sorry but there is no originality..

  • kpop is more better than ppop! eerr.. hate it.. ppop said that they need to make a name..tangkilikin ang sariling atin.. duh! what the heck! they are saying that but the truth is they are depending on kpop!!!! shocks.. kpop is the best! no one can change it.. not just like P-POP!

  • Screw both these groups, SNSD FIGHTING!

  • @SupahGundamFan im filipino but im a sone.. :)

  • @SupahGundamFan YAH! If your a real SONE you shouldn't bash on other groups! It's making SNSD look bad! Im a sone for 3 years. And if your a real sone you wont put comments like this, thats why SNSD are getting so much haters.

  • and i thought WG was bad enough. =_____=x ehhh their singing is like ok....

  • ITS FUNNY HOW MOST KPOP FANS THINK THEY CREATED "POP & HIPHOP".

POP/HIPHOP ORIGINATED IN THE UNITED STATES NOT KOREA!

SO HATERS GO JUMP OFF A CLIFF!

  • Plastic Surgey FTW!!!

  • and please dont compare them they are different, i love my fellow Filipinos and i also love WG so much they the best girlgroup ever..

  • the philippines still has a lot to learn about improving the industry, yeah we have a lots of talent, and filipinos born as gifted to this talent, im a big fan of WG and also a Filipino but have to admit we are now behind interms of music industry thats why our talents dont have support to invest with, curse that pirated cds and television channels that monopolizing our entainment industry with lots of politics..

  • ..while others here were fighting over the originality thing.., me.. im opposite.. i love kpop so much and i wish my own country would also have girl groups..sana nga madagdagan pa eh.. actually ang girl group dito sa phil. nag simula talaga to way back in 2001?. guys remember the sexbomb girls?.. they have the most numbers in a group.. hehe.. magaling sila.. at etong pop girls, sila na yung new generation.. hehe..

  • @feruccijean Yup, agree.

  • first of all, girl/boy groups didn't originate in KOREA! so if they are imitating? IT'S THE FREAKING TREND NOW! be open-minded guys. not all the time its about k-pop.

  • I'm happy that filipnos like K-Pop, but seriously, They should have their own originality. Korean groups have english and korean in their lyrics and P-Pop has that too. Philippines should stick to OPM songs...

  • FUCKING COPYCATS

    LIKE CANDY MAFIA OF THAILAND

    KH STARS OF CAMBODIA

    XLR8 OF THE PHILIPPINES

    BANG OH OF CHINA

  • @suicidalemotional , japan copied korea...

  • WTF. -_-

  • I have seen the Wonder Girls perform live and in person. Their dancing and singing are spectacular especially their voices. TBH I was and still not impressed of Pop Girls. Whenever I see live performances their voices usually crack and let's be honest, their dancing is not that good. It looks forced which makes it look more awkward. I have yet to see them perform in person to judge them fully but based from what I see so far, the pinoy balladeers are much more better in vocals than Pop Girls.

  • Comment removed

  • @gamegina @gamegina at first thats what i thought about pop girls too..i saw them perform on fancams on mall tours and was surprised..they improved...they can dance at the same time e.t.c unlike xlr8..but i still like xlr8..ive seen also a lot of pop girls fancams on party pilipinas rehearsals or mall tours theyre actually good now.and they improved their fashion...there is one performance in 'eat bulaga'...hard to find...but i 'favourited' it...go check it out..the per4mance was good =)

  • wow!!! i like the pop girls song!!!! actually they has alot!!! the philippines also already got a boy group!its the XLR8 they have lots of wonderfull songs like, i love you girl and your so hot!! try to listen and you will see!!!

  • we are asiansss right?.... just be one... let's just beat....those other... non asian countries..yeah like america.....

there famous just because of that hollywood thing... le't make our own ....hollywood... here in asia

  • @suicidalemotional LOl Your so right HAHHAA... IF Filipinos are complaining about originality so much, then they should look back at all the REMAKES that they do of older American songs .... ITS REFRESHING TO SEE THESE NEW FILIPINO "POP" Groups... Something different ...

  • @suicidalemotional yeah you are right.. we need to be open to our own region ! let us support each asian's work! unity!

  • @suicidalemotional hi five girl or boy??

  • @suicidalemotional dumbass theyre not one, you dont say the US and MExico are one same for the philippines and korea

  • @rapiyo

    haha

    pawned..

philippines is the mexico of asia. fuck those flips

  • nsan kau ..? d kau nhiya nsa pilipinas kau kng anu ano cnasbi nyo sa PPoP .. khet ano pa yan nari2 kau s PIlipinas kya wag kaung gnyan ...yuck.. wlang tiwala sa bansa ...

  • heres.... the thread... ok japan copied it from western....... then ...korea...... copied it from ...... japan......and philippines ....... is starting its name ...with p-pop.... from k-pop... so stop ...those issue about ...originality

note. japan started the asian ...pop.... so korea .... do'nt say we are a copy cat....kk... let's just shut-up ... about those nonsense.... thingy

    well anyway peace too all

  • @suicidalemotional Actually Japan and Korea came out with pop at the same time its just that Japan had more publicity so actually the Philippines did copy Korea! So STFU and get your facts straight!

  • why is the Philippines trying to ride on the KPOP wave?

the philippines need to do their own thing, if they want to have a GIRL POP group, it should be their own unique song and style not trying to imitate the kpop song and culture.

  • @KR15CO then why does korea ......always trying to ride on j-pop dude... its in the net ... that k-pop... was from .......j-pop ........ and from western..... better know those things... search it ,,, on the net

better not to immitate j-pop to dude

  • @suicidalemotional they are not riding jpop. at first they did. i mean, okay let say that they ride jpop but japanese let them ride into them. so it's okay. how about ppop? huh? trying to ride kpop but no one in korea knows them and even filipinos hate them. some might love them. And why make Ppop? OPM is more better

  • @kpoplova08 Yeah.. P-pop is trying to ride K-pop at FIRST! just like what you said about J-pop and K-pop.. Nd I bet some Koreans do know P-pop! :) Sooner or later they will be more original.. I'm still waiting on that time.. but let's not hate them since they are just starting.. give them time.. and if they still didn't improve, then that's when you hate them.. cause that means they are not worth the support.. but for now.. I'm hoping that they'll get better.. :) go P-pop! Let's not hate! :D

  • yep I kinda agree with you on that. And other countries think we're copycats but yeah I guess it's true, but not everything as we also have our own things to showcase. As you can see Korean wave has spread throughout the South East Asian countries and even in the West, We can't help it if a lot of our people adore them so much that producers had to make a girl band similar to those to make a huge profit out of it, Just going with d flow that Kpop compared to American Pop is the current in.

  • @KR15CO the songs they sing are composed by a Filipino...the songs are still original...I am a J-Pop fan and im not much into K-Pop.

This is much better than some of our artists here who only covers songs.. :)

  • @KR15CO and so like yours!LOL!

  • @KR15CO

There's nothing 'original' about K-Pop and how is this a copy of K-Pop ? No seriously I need an answer , I can't see how you can relate this to K-Pop unless they're singing Trot . Dear lord the ignorance now a days !

  • @dbsknada K-Pop IS original. Where have you seen music like it BEFORE others began copying it? These groups just began popping up AFTER K-Pop idols began promoting in the Philippines.

K-Pop idols sing and dance on stage and this is what P-Pop 'artists' are TRYING to do. Also, their songs sound close to K-Pop. Compare XLR8's You're So Hot with Super Junior's Sorry Sorry. GirlSquad even did a cover of SNSD's The Boys.

I'm Filipino and I believe we can do much better than plagiarism.

  • @iwishforyou21 Groups singing and dancing on stage have been in the Music business way before K-Pop was created. They were popular back in the 70s,80s and early 90s. But those groups eventually broke up and solo artists became more popular. When groups became an old trend in western music, K-Pop has picked up that trend and made it successful. So, K-Pop is not original, it's just a modern remake of what music used to be in the last century.

  • @dbsknada I understand. Thanks for taking the time to reply to me~ ^^ K-Pop did pick up that trend and I was wrong. I guess what I was trying to say wasn't said well enough. Even I look at it and think oops~ LOL but I don't know, K-Pop has put a spin on old trends and has somehow made it into their own.

P-Pop, on the other hand, has no twist to it that makes it different from K-Pop, and this fact disappointed me. Philippines can produce good music but they need to work on originality.

  • @iwishforyou21 I think the Philippines have the most talented singers. It's only a matter of time and P-Pop will get more popular. This's just the start of something new, it might not be original but who knows, give it a couple of years and lets see how P-Pop will turn out ;)

  • @dbsknada I'm glad to know that you have faith in P-Pop. It makes me want to believe in it myself. ^^

But I'm still skeptical, it's just that the people involved in the P-Pop industry aren't really trained the way K-Pop and J-Pop artists are. I don't think they ever will train like that either. Most of the celebrities that get on Filipino TV simply depend on their connections.

However, I know that there are those hard workers that I can be proud of~ I seriously hope you're right. ^_^
