our school says that UIUC is very selective.. and that the ACT standards are now 28-32

ACT Last year was like a 26-31. I know people who have gotten in with 23's and 24's though. GPA needs to be pretty good... I would not describe it as "Very Selective" however. More selective would be a better term. No longer do you have to just show up to get in. It is a very good school though, particularly business.
