Faulty 27" iMac i7

I finally got mine sorted; only took the repair-guys two days and it's been working flawlessly ever since...

I hade a simmilar problem. And Apple would send me a new one. But i asked them i i could keep the one that i have now. And Woulla. I got an Imac, and the day after there came a Company to pick it up, Apple Is the future.

So MACs dont get blue screen like windows... they get blue/purple screens

DAMN that looks familiar... Mine does the same, only it goes away after

a couple of minutes. Still contemplating on what to do: I had to wait

6 weeks for this one and don't want to be without for another 6 weeks...

@janvdwouw After 3 replacements I gave up on the 27" iMac and went with a 8-core Mac Pro instead now I couldn't be happier.

If I where you I would be on the phone to them as soon as possible and get the fault free iMac that you paid for.

I think your screen is just being creative.

You need to go at the Apple store and say a new one becuase the GPU is not installed right and the pixles do that

Ow man, feel sorry for you, that must be such a pain to obtain such a borken machine after tha wait.

But hey, I ordered on 20th october in switzerland, and the shop said I'd be lucky if I receive it before christmas.. Hope you'll get your new one soon !

I received my imac on Nov 10 and the screen was broken, his return this November 12, and now they tell me to send up on Nov 24 to receive it on 1 Dec, not fair, I asked for from 21 Oct., I d Monterrey, mexico
