At six I swear I died with meningitus... I can vividly remember waking from a coma not knowing where I was. (oct 1967 isolation ward in Barnet general.) My room overlooked fields and a woods. This song played several times on a small transistor radio. At 49 I have just found it again, I remember the tune but the actual lyrics send shivers through me. Awesome... wow!! all these years. I never knew the words.

Reminds me a little of Family's "Winter" from 1968..."World" creepy, haunting song until it fluffs out with the harp and bells at the very end. Listen to the bass playing! Marvelous! The julesverne sounding organ and nickdrakian lyrics "because it rains every day/why do they keep me here"...just eerily compelling.
