I just want to say that the typical stereotype pictures people have of homeless people are just that - stereotypes, & most of what people think of the homeless is all wrong. So cast away all those preconceived ideas. Every homeless persons is different. Not all of them are there because they want 2B there, & not every homeless person looks like a homeless person either! Also, if someone is sleeping in a car, they are still homeless. Having no home to go home to is what makes someone homeless.

@FireThunderTV Very insightful. I think oft us as Christians aren't well equippped or knowledgeable enough to properly help out people. But Hopefully we will have soft hearts that are willing to learn how to show love to all who need Christ, including those that are homeless.

paikimchung: It's simple...U give what U have2those who don't have. What bothers me is people sending $ to poor destitute people in Haiti or other countries, when there are people right in our own backyards who are hurting just as badly. The churches priorities are all wrong. They are self-absorbed lovers of themselves&totally clueless as2how2help people when the answer is right in front of their faces. We R the answer. If we R the body, then why aren't His hands helping, His arms reaching?
