  • cool music.

  • The Dan Ty Ba is tuned either to C F G C1 or A D E A1.

The range of the Ty Ba is 3 octaves, C to C3

  • My girlfreind just brought me back what I believe is a dan tyba from Vietnam, 0:34 in the video. What am I supposed to tune each string relative to a standard guitar? Thanks.

  • Wonderful, this is traditional music in south Viet Nam

  • At first I thought it was central, but you're right, the melody is southern...just it goes perfectly with southern folk opera (cai luong).
