Broly's LSSJ form itself is superior to SSJ2, like say SSJ2 Gohan from the Cell Games. FYI...The trailer for Broly Second Coming says Broly is the most powerful being in the universe. The thing is, Broly could have killed the z fighters like Gohan killed the cell jrs, but there was no way Toei would ever have the heroes lose at the end. So Broly had to lose in a nonsensical way.

That's what SOME dbz fans believe has to be present in order to be SSJ2. Those fans are ill-informed, as we know from the anime, lightning is not always present for SSJ2. Before the fight with Cell, but after the training in the chamber. Yeah and what did Goku's kameha do? It blew cell's torso off. What did it do to Broly? Nothing. Dude Broly didn't just lose so an ssj Goku. Keep in mind Goku was ascended. He also had the energy of 3 ssj's and a super namekian. And still wasn't strong enough to kill Broly. Goku wasn't worried in the least bit about letting Gohan fight Cell. Because he knew Gohan wouldn't get killed by Cell and that Gohan's ssj2 form would be way to much for Cell. Broly's LSSJ form itself is superior to SSJ2, like say SSJ2 Gohan from the Cell Games. FYI...The trailer for Broly Second Coming says Broly is the most powerful being in the universe. The thing is, Broly could have killed the z fighters like Gohan killed the cell jrs, but there was no way Toei would ever have the heroes lose at the end. So Broly had to lose in a nonsensical way.

The villians get stronger, they don't go backward in power, movie 8 Broly lost to a slightly powered up Goku, imagine what would have happened if ss2 gohan hit Broly.
The same thing that happened to Bojack,.... and cell was equal to ss2 Gohan, until the Vegeta distraction.
Broly seems t be a mutant version of that 2nd ascended level...... that form has the speed vulnerability as future Trunks showed us against Cell.
Broly never made it to ss2, the permanent mutant 2nd ascended.

Broly was already stronger than the z fighters as a normal ssj. in the second movie, Broly got a zenkai, so he was top tier lssj, whereas gohan was low tier ssj2. @gerietis789 wrong. When gohan first turned ssj2, he was high tier ssj2, nearly as strong as majin vegeta and goku ssj2 from buu saga. The difference between them is said to be small many times in the manga. As an adult, he's low tier ssj2. Majin Vegeta could easily beat him in a single punch. U rn't getting the power difference between ssj and ssj2. Broly in the second movie was already much stronger in ssj form than Gohan. In Second Coming, Gohan ssj is not even close to his pl in the cell

@gerietis789 saga. Broly, on the other hand, was already much much stronger in normal ssj in the first movie (b4 going lssj he could tank their attacks). Now that he's had a zenkai, his normal ssj form is even stronger than back then when it totally outclassed gohan's ssj, which is stronger than now. It's no surprise that with such an enormous power difference, Broly in lssj can beat Gohan in ssj2 despite ssj2 being a stronger form than ssj2. just like how in gt, goku, goku ssj= goku ssj3 in z

@gerietis789 lmao in the first movie, all that happened was his energy kept rising on it's own. This is not a good thing, u should have control of when your energy rises. In the second movie, he doesn't have this weakness and chooses when to raise his energy like everyone else. There's absolutely no evidence that his power level grows on it's own in the second coming movie.

In his first movie, his energy thing was supposed to be more of a weakness; the z fighters never comment on it being an advantage they have to overcome, and Broly obv explodes because of his own en. His power doesn't increase forever in movie 8, it just increases by itself = instability weakness

Most other fighters have control of exactly when they want to raise their power. @gerietis789 mostly all fights of broly was just for fun so he didn't wanted to finish his enemies very fast like gohan ssj2 did to cell jrs. in movie 8 broly used only 1 move to beat ssj vegeta and still he was enjoying it. now broly got zenkai he would do much trouble to z fighters if only he would fight serious. even if broly turn to ssj2 he still would enjoy the fight. but movie 10 broly lssj power should be rising thats the lssj ability.

@gerietis789 false forms r ssj forms that do not follow the regular ssj path, like assj and ussj. they r ditched when the person discovers ssj2, which is stronger. there's no doubt the ssj2 form is stronger than lssj, the power increase is much more substantial. Every single dbz villain has toyed with their opponents, not just Broly. Look at Cell. When Krillin attacked him, Cell barely even tapped him, and Krillin nearly died. I highly doubt Broly has more self control than Cell. If Broly was even as strong as fpcell, he would have had an extremely hard time not killing the z fighters.

Cell, seeing this happens, assumes his full power can match Gohan's. Gohan has no aura, nothing to show he's even trying up to this point; the z fighters even comment he's not even trying vs cell. @gerietis789 Cell. So it's pretty clear that Gohan ssj2 was able to instantly kill the entire z fighter force without even coming close to his full power, prob only around 3/4 of max power. And it's pretty obvious from the massive power up and confidence that cell at his maximum power = suppressed ssj2 gohan while fighting the cell juniors (hence y he seemed to instantly move to the z fighters when he attacks Gohan), so Broly movie 8 is pretty outclassed by both

This is how the original ssj was described because he was so much stronger than all the other ssjs his power seemed to have no end. It's the same with Broly. That's what SOME dbz fans believe has to be present in order to be SSJ2. Those fans are ill-informed, as we know from the anime, lightning is not always present for SSJ2. Blame Toei, but as we've gone over before there are other features to look for in determing whether or not someone is SSJ2.

@omar53333 what are you talking about? Manga doesn't even FEATURE Broly. Broly was just a fund-raiser type of movie for the anime company. Broly = Ultra SSJ(muscle guy) with speed and battle sense. @JiSeb no matter how strong he was when fighting cell he was 11 yo ,now he is 17 and ask a doctor even if you stop working out you still get stronger when growing up,all he lost was his fighting sense,ki capabilities and skill,which is irelevant since he beat Cell purely outmatching him in strenght but he couldnt do the same with Broly.That means Broly is waaaay stronger,remember in Janemba movie where he beat Bojack(as strong as cell) tho he didnt train for a long time
