  • have you actually played it? yes it deserves 10/10. of course there are games with better graphics/ voice acting etc, but this is on a wii. the only console without hd, and lowest performance. and i am not rating it so high because i am a fan, but for skyward sword, on wii, story 10, functionality 10, graphics 10, lag? none, playability 10. yes it deserves its rating, and those who rate games dont do so for any reason other than ratings. they cause problems all the time. this isnt any different

  • daaaaaawwwwwwww..... your voice is so precious..... X3

normally i would find it annoying and piss me off..... but you actually know

what you're talkin about and you make sense to boot.......! i approve of you.....!

  • No actually it is a great game deff not a 10 but it is a 9.5 meening the reason I don't give it a ten is because if it was that would meen it couldent get any better and honestly I'm looking forward to seeing it

  • Turn down your background music!

  • I have another question! :D

Which traditional Zelda enemies would you like show up in Skyward Sword?

  • Now that I think about it... If you put some thought into how your arrange you "tendo junk" it could be a really nice backdrop for your next video... You have some cool stuff back there... I bet you work at a game store, huh?

  • @knightsofhyruleORG It's not dirty... just cluttered.. but with Nintendo paraphernalia... I approve.

  • Clean your room.

  • @BADinternetJOKE

It is clean. It's just small.

  • @knightsofhyruleORG Hi, you might be more familiar with the zelda series than i am. How does link's origins in OOT connect with Skyward sword? How did link end up in skyloft after the events of OOT????

  • @knightsofhyruleORG its awesome :D like tiny game museum

  • "Perfect Graphics, Perfect Acting"

Its a Wii and its Zelda... it has to be reviewed for what it is... Voice Acting would completely destroy the charm of it and the graphics mae use of the limited Wii graphics extremely well

  • @leemster

I agree, voice acting would suck.

But games aren't reviewed for what they are. A Zelda game isn't reviewed as a Zelda game, it's reviewed as a game period. Every aspect of the game is going to be nitpicked by reviewers and compared to other recent games. Skyward Sword, like any Zelda game, will be amazing, but I've never in my entire life played a game that was completely flawless. IMO 10/10 = Flawless, which is why I'm not too happy with such a score being given away so easily.

  • As for my question, since next mailbag will be after SS's release:

How are you enjoying Skyward Sword so far?

  • SS has actually gotten negetive reviews as well. Well...not "negetive" but 7's and 8's. I honestly think most of those reviews are unfair, for many reasons. They bash on certain elements on SS, and then turn right around and praise very similar elements in other games.

If you look at the postive reviews, a good bunch of them aren't just saying everything is great, like you're saying they are, there are some that actually break down certain aspects of the game and tell why they're good.

  • Annotation says pardon the fugly.....I disagree with the fugly part.

And we'll see in a few days whether or not they're being biased lol.

  • Are those Metroid earrings I see?

  • @CaughtCatch

    Why yes. :3

  • darn character limits...

    5) Probably Twilight Princess for both of them.

  • Comment removed

  • I'll try some of my own answers for once, why not..

    1) Reviewers are often paid to give X game a good review or Y game a bad review, but who knows maybe it is amazing.

    2) Twilight Princess, definitely. I just loved the story and the characters *cough* Midna *cough* and it all made me fall in love with the game.

    3) I thought Fi was just the spirit of the sword, nothing more.. I highly doubt that she is a fairy.

    4) It's not an issue at all if you ask me, look at the oocca in TP.

  • @TheOnlyGBeast

True. But the Oocca really didn't interact with the land below except with the Royal Family, so Hyruleans never really knew about them. With SS, I think it'll depend on whether or not all of the Skyloftians ever interact with the land below or not. If they never do, then the world below would never have known about the technology, so it's now a problem. If they do interact, then they have to explain why the technology is lost to Hyruleans centuries later.

  • @knightsofhyruleORG Ahh I was not saying that the oocca are the same as the people in skyloft, I meant that it's a similar example of an ancient civilization with superb technology.

In any event, you are very right about if they interact with Hyruleans what happened to the technology, but I s'pose we'll see on the 20th. Though I have an honest feeling that there won't be much, if any, interaction between the general population of Skyloft and Hyrule.
