With the most intricantly designed fantastical world ever you would think that the promises of a possible RPG based upon it would set the game devs drooling at the thought of it. But no, this looks like it will amount to a sub par RPG and will be lost beneath the myriad of shit RPGs that have been pumped for the past several years.
I am not one to complain about graphics and such, but the people all seemed very lackluster compared to the environment, not to mention the close up on the raven was also pretty bad. I have a feeling this is going to turn out like genesis, which is not a good thing.
Problem with games in general, is you get all the PC players complaining about graphics and all that stuff
but for developers, the bigger market is in consoles, and consoles can't cope with allll the top end stuff, i think Skyrim was a brilliant game considering what they had to work with.
It was still a good game, sure, but I dunno, I guess Bethesda has risen my expectations vastly due to oblivion and Morrowind.
As for the graphics, I had the impression console players always complain. I for one love it, because my outdated hardware can still run everything in more or less max details.

For as quickly as they gobbled up the franchise and churned out a game, it doesn't look completely terrible. People hung up on graphics clearly aren't familiar with Atlus' works.

The attention to the armor should be second to stuff like faces, body proportions and animations because those are the immediate things your brain pics up at first glance. Somehow I don't think that is the result the art direction of this game was aiming for.

Well, if the won't try to copy gameplay from the elder scrolls, dragon age and assassin's creed and make it closer to witcher 2, they may create a really good game. Simply not taking what you wouldn't handle and knowing when to stop might help tomake a really good project.

Why are we assuming this game will be good? This same company already fucked up one Game of Thrones adaptation... BADLY. Nor does anything in this video hint at any sort of good gameplay. If it wasn't for the franchise, the like to dislike ratio would be far different.
I will give them credit for including GRRM though. That's pretty cool of the devs... and this alone gives me SOME hope the game won't blow dangling donkey balls.

Well, if the won't try to copy gameplay from the elder scrolls, dragon age and assassin's creed and make it closer to witcher 2, they may create a really good game. Simply not taking what you wouldn't handle and knowing when to stop might help tomake a really good project.

@YesimSasori I thought that was one of the things that people were praising about the series, ie that George RR Martin actually went to the trouble of crafting his own compelling fantasy world instead of copy and pasting Tolkein's ideas like everyone else does.
