-Respectfully- The ones who should be listening, but aren't and never will, are those whom orders you obey. Perhaps they were protesting in the right place and perhaps our soldiers should listen. If you all knew the Constitution as well as the protesters you might see you are not protecting your own people exactly as you think. I loathe Christmas-now, trees, the whole thing, but I loved this movie about ordinary suckers in WWI, 1914, who after a bit of music, booze, cards and football the next day, didn't want to kill one another, in fact cooperated on personal crisis issues. Germans, Scots and French. Amazing. Ordinary suckers haven't had their brains sucked out so bad, this still makes perfect sense. The common enemy is the command structure.

we DID find a gun this year.

Two undercovers either dropped it or planted it. I glanced their way and only a gun remained on the ground so none of us responded. Pretty quickly two uniformed police walked up, put their feet next to it called in backup and picked it up without gloves or anything. Yuck.
