You all three were fantastic, and love this gospel song. Did you use tab for this on the banjo. If so would love to know where to get it. Thanks for sharing. Gwen
Lovein it !!! good to see some good ole Ky Boys doin it right !!!!!! Yall deffinately need to be down at some of the singin's in hart county next year !!!...
@pubrally Thanks you for watching, but we don't play together anymore. We did for a few months and we just fizzled out. I really think we had something good going. The banjo player stills plays, the mandolin fellow got married, and the guitar man said his bluegrass days are over. We are distant cousins, who knows, maybe we will play again someday. btw, I am the banjo player - Travis
So at first i thought it was a joke with the hole we found him on the street but whether you did or not it don't matter cause you guys can play. how long have you guys been playing??? well i wish you guys the best of luck, and God Bless.
at the time of the video, the mandolin player and the banjo player had been playing about a year. the guitar player has played for several years. thanks for your comment.
I think you guys are great. You just made my morning. I cranked it up loud the second time as I got ready to go. Thanks for sharing you talent and praising God!!
VERY nice fellas.. I knew you got that lick bending the strings from jim mills...U made it sound very nice, and that song is one of the most powerful songs ever to be written. This is my favorite video of ya'll. Ya'll keep it up, dont let the talent go to waste! And yes ur salvation is ur business....glad to see you weren't ashamed to admit it! Take care....Mike Smith
Blake, to those of us who r born again, How Great Thou Art" is more than "just a little 'religious' song." U played well, but I hv 2 question if u play to the glory of God or for urselves. Being from the S, I've learned that "good ole boys" don't go to heaven for their ability to draw out their words & twang a instrument. Plainly said, plz trust Jesus Christ & play for his glory. Not being critical. Ur playing is impressive, just see 2 it that ur HEART impresses the Lord by trusting his SON.
This is Blake. First of all I am not the one who commented on How Great Thou Art being a religious song. That would be Aaron, the farthest to the right. Second, regardless of who we are playing for is our business and ours only. Third, I am already "born again" and really don't need instruction from anyone else, except for God... OH AND NOBODY SAID WE WERE GOIN TO HEAVEN FOR THE MUSIC THAT WE PLAY! WE JUST DO IT FOR FUN! case dismissed
good for you bein saved and all--but i just wanted to say that your beliefs are and always will be your business--thank you for stating that---i am somewhat bothered by people who judge and make assumptions about other people---we're all in this together.
