  • How big is the club layout?

  • Very nice video and the layout looks impressive. Where in Columbia is it located?

  • We are located on the second floor of the Columbia Historical Society at 21 N. 2nd St. (between Locust and Walnut Sts.). The building used to be a church, then later a machine shop.

  • Thanks Tony, only after I asked the question did I think to check the web site. I do have another question though. Are there any hours when it is open to the public?

BTW, I live in Elizabethtown and model in O gauge 3 rail, but love all things that run on rails.

    John

  • We are generally open Sundays 1:30-4pm. I usually put a sign outside the doors. We will be open next Sunday (3/1/09) and the following Saturday (3/7/09) from 1pm-4:30pm. Are you a member of the Masonic Homes Model Railroad Club?

  • No, I am not a member. I've been there a few times and know a couple of the members, but I have trouble finding time to work on my layout and the grandsons HO layout so don't think I could do them a lot of good. I also volunteer at TCA library in Strasburg one day a week. Will try to make it down next Sunday.

  • Very nice.

  • Thank you. I just wish the sound would have stayed in sync like it did when I reviewed it prior to uploading. The plans are to expand the layout in the future which would make a longer trip.
