since I cant afford a dyno test, maybe all you fine people can guesstimate as to how much power my car has. Its an 08 Mustang GT with a 93 Bama tune, Longtube headers, ProChamber, and axlebacks. Oh, and a K&N air filter (not CAI)

@marcsigi A lot of people don't realize that manufacturers provide horsepower at the "crank", or what the engine produces. A DYNO gives you horsepower at the "wheels". There is generally a 15-20% (approx) loss of horsepower in any drivetrain.
@imhypoglycemic In that case we should be seeing, with the stock exhaust, 357hp (for a 15% loss) or 336hp (for a 20% loss). Instead it read 318hp, which is only 75% of the 420hp BMW is advertising (25% loss). So my question is... WTF??

That's why you see some guy's ask "What kind of Dyno did you use?" Dynojet? Superflow? Mustang? etc... Whichever dyno it is, they are really helpful in "tuning". I hope this helps.

Not to my knowledge. For cars, he only makes exhausts for the best motorised versions, like the M3, M5 and M6 and the Porsche GT3, I think. I believe he is curently working on (maybe it has already been finished) on the GT-R.
yeah, but they're measuring wheel hp instead of brake hp which is what the manufacturers measure. wheel hp is always less, although 100hp seems like alot. i thought it would've been more like 350-360hp
Yes, these gains were from the exhaust alone. I love the exhaust, perfect sound, not too loud for daily driving. It will trigger the CEL, but Akrapovic is working on a solution.
3XX hp ? BMW says 420 !
I think that the new 6.3 AMG is also a good singer, C63 AMG sound is good. And this akrapovic too. But BMW > Mercedes.

Well, not really big difference in HP. Even bigger difference can be seen between winter and summertime. But has nice sound.

so base run was 318.2rwhp with 221.41rwtq huh
i mean wtf, it is rated at 414hp to the crank and it lost 96hp traveling down to the wheel? thats about 23% lossage through drivetrain.
even AWD layouts lose 18-20% at the most for 90%of time.
am i missing something here? plz some one help me out, im confused.

No , this is about right, its bout 20% drivetrain loss.
Plus a car moving with proper air cooling makes a difference as this M3 uses a Ram air effect from the factory..
