  • Non sono sicuro se questi tizi che ciarlano dei Coldplay siano troll o solo tonti. E sì, sto parlando in italiano apposta per farvi tradurre tutto, stronzi.

  • @Grievered Matto! Imparare un po 'storia!

  • This music is like Coldplay - Talk. :)

  • coldplay asked permission to use elements of this song in talk. they got permission. so chill.

    I need a rendezvous

  • todd rudgren predates kraftwerk in electronic music folks

    just saying

  • Nicee

  • Coldplay ripped off this song. It sounds like "Talk". I wonder why no one takes their plagiarism claims seriously.

  • @SAIL4323 Coldplay had permission.

  • @SAIL4323 Coldplay's singer has described in interviews how they wrote Hutter & al using "schoolboy german" for the permission to use the melody line.

  • @SAIL4323 They're right, they had permission. Who can blame them? It's a great tune.

  • I think this might be the best one...?

  • holy rip-off, batman! can't believe coldplay's nerve.

  • @jimifloydrix It's actually not a rip off, believe it or not. They state in the album booklet that the song contains elements of this song. =)

  • Kraftwerk's been doin it since the 70's. Who really knows how deep their influence goes. Pretty much any type of electronic music, house, trance, hip-hop..... The list goes on. Kraftwerk were pioneers. Obviously a bit ahead of their time. Just think about this song "computer love" and what that means today with the Internet and dating.

  • The beginning of the song "SMS [Shine]" by David Crowder Band kind of reminds me of this song (the way the snare echoes).

  • @basementdweller1 I feel like a beautiful part of history was erased. Your comebacks were the best on youtube. Truly an inspiration sir.

  • well done to Kraftwerk and Coldplay!!!!! :)

  • 13 People dont love their computers.... :(

  • @pfhatty I love a love-hate relationship with mine.

  • IDK about what others think cause i didn't bother reading all the comment fights. But l like both. They're both very different and I like both.

  • @basementdweller1 is he not allowed to express his opinion? he wasn't trolling your video, just giving an honest opinion regarding the video, im sorry if im misunderstanding something.

  • Ich liebe diesen Song! Ich nehme Deutsch als GCSE und ich beziehe mich Kraftwerk Lyrics! : D Aber das war nur in der Scheiße Google eingegeben Translate lol.

  • they said that COLDPLAY was "permitted" to use this song as their song "TALK"..

    weeew... nicely done kraftwerk :)

  • @basementdweller1 amazing responses. i respond in a similar fashion but in a more crudely worded way.

  • @basementdweller1 this response is amazing.

  • These dudes were sweet as hell! They had their own style, I loved that about them!

  • The machines have emotions!

  • Amazing! First time I listen to the original (only knew "The Mix" version). And Coldplay used this riff to make an equaly awesome song. Kudos for both Kraftwerk and Coldplay.

  • What a beautiful piece of music!

  • Never really heard this song before but I heard of Kraftwerk and loved Autobahn pocketcalculator and De model since I was a kid so that makes this song a new favorite I'm gonna to some more research on more Kraftwerk albums.

  • fantastic

  • this is coldplay-talk :D just listen

  • @bloger2233 1) This song is from 1981, so it's not Coldplay

    2) Coldplay used that sound with the permission of Kraftwerk, so no one steal to no one

  • @bloger2233 Gee thanks, I couldn't have read that on wikipedia or anything... They used the main riff with the permission of kraftwerk....

  • I knew Kraftwerk played a major role in the techno genre, but I never would of thought they would of influenced a band like Coldplay! I obviously underestimated their influence on music in general :P

  • @ADFROMAN Kraftwerk has inspired and influenced generations of musicians across a broad scope of genres. In fact, they basically created an entire genre of music.

Rock has The Beatles. Electronic music has Kraftwerk. Their sound and influence echos throughout a large majority of what we listen to today.

  • @ADFROMAN ....And Hip-Hop, listen to Afrika Bambaata's Planet Rock and Trans-Europe Express...the whole electro hip hop scene owes it's existence to Kraftwerk.

  • @basementdweller1 your sarcasm is smooth like this song. well said ;)

  • @crackedLCDsalvage Yeah, but no need to jump on a guy like that. He just expressed his opinion and basementdweller completely overreacts.

  • music's better when listened to in darkness,I'm not a freak! it just enables you to feel it better!

  • Gorgeous tune.

  • This is my favourite song and I'm sad that nowadays people think it's Coldplay =3=

  • coldplay copied this song! lawl

  • Comment removed

  • So sad, and so prescient

  • Have to agree with many the song makes me smile.

  • the following one who name the word COLDPLAY will get a tasty kick in his mouth lol

  • people this song is from 1981... do you understand?? 1981

  • @payasocastillo I hear you. Whats worse is my brother saw them on this tour with his mate and came home raving about it and we wanted to go again the next night but me Dad wouldnt let us!!!!

  • yea coldplay steal this song haha

  • I love this song....and I'll admit, straight up, the sound alone, makes me happy LOL

  • @basementdweller1 I've changed my mind. Truthfully, I do actually quite like this.

  • Coldplay?

  • @Nathaliiesaleh Please don't tell me you're another person who believes coldplay made this song first. Coldplay borrowed the synth riff from them.

  • we like the moon, because it's close to us

  • @basementdweller1 This song is far from being annoying. It's a work of Musical Genius.

  • this is a great song coldplay's version (talk) is good but this is pure brilliance

  • @basementdweller1 haha absolutely class. you truly are a master of the lowest form of wit. you can be very proud of yourself, young sir.

  • @basementdweller1

Is this the first electronic musik ever made :O ???

  • @AlexanderDupont No , you want to listen to other krautrock like Tangerine Dream early stuff , or maybe late 1960's or early Pink Floyd , but E music has been going on since the therymin 1st designed by a Russian bloke in the 1930's , does that anwer your question.

  • @Wad12br

    Thanks alot :)

  • Quit hatin' on coldplay! Jesus people! Both are great songs. And as long as coldplay asked for permission, were all good! Being a faggot has nothing to do with listening to coldplay.

  • @basementdweller1 snorrrrrrrrrre

  • @rgktt i have no idea how that comment got there, i honestly didnt write that. sorry if i offended anyone x_x

  • I like both the Kraftwerk and the Coldplay version. It's funny that my mother actually listened to this song when she was in her teens.

  • Not everything on wikipedia is true fags..

  • @PatrolTard I hope I never become like you

  • @13kover I'll see you in 3years :)

  • @rgktt you're pretty annoying

  • do you recognize that tune??

coldplay knicked it!! the fuckers!!!!! :(

  • @123GeeRob

They asked first, and Kraftwerk allowed them to use that melody.

  • @123GeeRob nooooo coldplay asked if they can make that tune. Go to wikipedia!

  • thumbs up if Talk brought you here <3

  • I have two disks in the house relics of them is a computer and the other is love Radioactivity 1975 heritage lol

  • I could not help noticing the resemblance but I surely knew that Kraftwerk is much older and Root E-music thanks for the hug comment

  • Comment removed

  • the music talk coldplay's band coincidence or copy?

  • @Aledumendes it uses the main riff of this song but it is credited and legit (personaly I think its nice cause Kraftwerk gets more atention :)

  • @Aledumendes coldplay asked kraftwerk if they can make the tune.(Wikipedia)

  • I love Computer Love and I love Coldplay's Talk. The British lads did a great job from this Kraftwerk materpiece. End of story.

  • Does this figure remind you of "Vegeta " from Dragonball Z or what?!? Saiyans gotta get down too... Huh?

  • I love this old beautiful original version from 1981 much more better than the remix version on "The Mix"// Christoffer

  • Kraftwerk-- the inventors of electronically music...

  • @wastl700

    I sign that

...knowing that this is true :)

  • Well, now I know where Coldplay got their song from...What a blatent ripoff...

  • @lizsweeny

Coldplay only sampled it. They asked Kraftwerk for their approval beforehand

  • @DancingNinjaKid they didn't sample it, they played the chorusline on guitar that's all

  • @lizsweeny okay, they used a riff, so what? the rest of the song is awsome

  • BRILLIANT!

  • Kling Klang

  • @dromoreman They did, I mention it on the credits.

  • i need a rendezvous

  • Simply Amazing!

  • @basementdweller1 Make sense.

  • Is this a remix of the Zapp and Rogers song, or is it a coincidental title?

  • @dromoreman first of all Coldplay got permission by Kraftwerk to use this and Kraftwerk are cited writers on Talk. Secondly Coldplay have never complained about 'other artists using their work'.

  • computer love was the sh-- ,back in tha day

  • Respect to Coldplay for using this and making people become more aware of this.

    They know where to look.

  • The voice in the remix made in the '90 years is recorded in a better way,,aniway I love this song!

  • haha, I totally did not know that Coldplay got this from Kraftwerk...my respect for Kraftwerk just went wayyy up :)

  • @basementdweller1 where is your sense of humour people

  • @pjlk00 Shit, sorry man! I have a tendency to lose it on yt sometimes. You have no idea how many comments I get in my inbox saying the same exact thing.

  • Coldplay used their time machine to go back in time and inspire Kraftwerk to make this song

  • @GodRMK

    you are stupid! ; )

  • @GodRMK 1.21 Gigawatt... plutonium... flux capacitor... Emmet L. Brown... DeLorean...

  • この曲もの凄いと思う

    後半泣きそうになるわ、

    音像が凄くて意識が向こうに持ってかれそうになるわ、

    どうしてこんな曲が作れるのか・・・

  • As a matter of fact, KRAFTWERK is the name I've put in my spearfishing boat...

  • @badejaopictures This is so win I can't even think straight...

  • I was born in 1986, but all my life until now I've listened to Kraftwerk. My father gave me all of his vinyl albums. A few minutes ago I've almost cried listening to the radio: Coldplay has released a song called "Talk" which uses Kraftwerk's Computer Love riff. It's good and bad, from my point of view: GOOD because brings Kraftwerk's fans good memories; BAD because there's a whole bunch of people who don't know what is Kraftwerk and will probably think Coldplay invented the riff... lol

  • @badejaopictures Your dad is a cool dude...

  • @badejaopictures Don't worry man, us true Coldplay fans know that Coldplay themselves have said that they got the riff from Kraftwerk. Infact they even asked if they could use it. :)

  • @jhon498 Hi there! I'm also a Coldplay fan. Nothing like listening to "OK COMPUTER" in vynil 180g on Wilson Audio Watt/Puppy 7 + Audio Research MKII... :) - Amazing I survived, an airbag saved my life... =)

  • Fantastic!!!! Saw Kraftwerk perform this live in 1981 in Cleve. Ohio at the old Agora!.....an experience I'll never forget!!!!

  • THE BEST ELETRONIC MUSIC

  • Talk

  • Ah, the good old time mothers tears to my eyes. :'-)

  • Please check out My Place by Tokyo Rose an amusing rock music video warning of the dangers of too much social networking. Although it is amusing it does carry a very dark message of what may happen.

  • Thanks to Dave Fanning for introducing me to Kraftwerk through this song, listening on a transistor radio whilst on a dreary holiday in Sligo as a kid. This blew my mind at the time.

  • @DragonHearthJR Yeah Coldplay got permission from Kraftwerk to sample this song before they made Talk.

  • @DragonHearthJR Kraftwerk sent an envelope back to them when asked if they could use the tune...the note in the envelope simply said, "Yes." Kraftwerk rule! :)

  • i like zapp and roger's version better. this one sounds like you'd hear it in an elevator at some big company. thumbs up if you agree lol

  • i love this song, it makes me happy, but then sad at the same time. Kraftwerk for life, i love these guys!

  • nice
