@TheRudrasai - I just added the reflection channel in the material with a Fresnel at about 40% brightness. As far as seeing the reflections from the floor, you should see everything in your environment in a material reflection. I originally created this in R11.5, but everything is the same in R13 as far as materials are concerned.
@TheVisciousArts Hehe. I did start render before going to bed, so it wasn't like taking anything out of my life. But, also sometimes it's worth it to work on something sexy at any cost;) Cheers!
Also, to paraphrase GreyScaleGorilla, it's not how long your render is that you should be proud of, it's how short you got it for how good it looks! I've learned a lot about render settings in C4D since I made this, I would do it better now.
@bradleyness Haha 6 - 8 hours of rendering is nothing: I once made a intro and I gave the material ''ice pearl'' to alot of moving objects with a moving camera and moving lights. It took my laptop 82 hours to render it in hd 720p... xD Never use that material :P
@TheVisciousArtsv6-8 hours of his life? His life can cntinue as usual even though his computer is rendering a video. Have you ever looked outside your window? ROFL
@SamuelThomasRanger Maybe you could explain? Let's try to be helpful with each other, please. I'm not sure what your comment is getting at exactly, but it comes across as condescending. Let's hear it for web responsibility and maturity!!
4D accordingly to string theory is a sort of dimension where you can see exactly where you have been and where you will be, you would therefore see yourself on one end as a sperm and on the other as a decaying corpse, the same with all things, you could look at a tree where it would only be a plant and where it would be as a rotten tree. But you would have to count in the earths rotation and movement around the sun, so you would basicly leave a large track in form of yourself.
hey how did you make that glossy material and why it is not taking reflections from floor
when i make a reflection material it is not that glossy and it takes reflections from floor which makes me mad
im using c4d r13

@Xbox360KnowHow I don't exactly remember. I think I left it going overnight, maybe 6 hours?
I currently have the i7 860 processor. With all the reflections it made for a pretty long render.

@bradleyness
I had no intensions of offending anyone, I merely get a little edgy around people claiming 4D wherevery they go. No offense.
SamuelThomasRanger 1 year ago
@SamuelThomasRanger Thank you. Just for clarification Cinema 4D is a 3D software program, so the meaning of the 4D here would simply mean time.
Thanks for checking it out.
