I think to doubt Knight's sincerity is stupid...yes, he is an ass frequently, and he has a temper, but its those type of people that don't bull$hit you, so yes, I'd say he was sincere...Knight's biggest thing is not kissing ass...Herb Magee is a special coach and Knight knows it..

Why would it be stupid to doubt Bob Knight. Most people closest to him especially his players at Indiana have said that often at times it was hard to gauge his emotions and physical demeanor. So yes, i'm sure he means what he says but classic example is this were is the EMOTION! Or look up the definition of sincere perhaps you had mistaken me for the word honest?

And, for him to do this, that means that Coach Magee is one of a too small percentage of coaches deserving of respect & admiration for the integrity he's brought to coaching.
