"There are worlds out there, where the sky is burning. The sea's asleep and the river's dream. A hill made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice and somewhere else the tea's getting cold.
This was a rotten version of the theme tune just liike the synthy versions just before it. Thankfully they use the proper original theme in the series today that they used in the 60's and 70's, albeit backed by an orchestra beat and its knocks this dated theme music into a cocked hat and is a perfect progression to the theme as it was altered only slightly between 63-79. The McCoy era and theme was anything but classic, but it was a good trailer, nickgowman

Theres nothing more vicious than a McCoy or Colin Baker fan who seem to find it difficult to communicate what they think about a tv series and those involved and prefer to rant at other fans opnions of what is a ''tv'' show. I hope you find life doesn't treat you too badly if this is the best way you communicate with others. Theres nothing ''nostalgic'' about liking the series in the present day.
except that you were arrogant enough to state your opinion as fact and naive enough to expect to cause no offense to people who wouldn't appreciate the viciousness of your tactlessness.
Takes two to dance you know, so let he who is without sin....
Well there was ''fact'' & ''opnion'' in my original post. Fact, that the current theme tune does contain the original theme & fact that the 2005 theme,( not necessarily the 2008 one) is bound to be the closest and naturally sounding progression of the Derbyshire theme because it contains it. And opinion insofar that i personally find the McCoy theme tune horrendous
Anyway, can I just ask why you seem to think it's okay to respond to my post where i express an opinon of a ''tv'' show and yet you ignore the post with a vile remark where a poster refered to me as a nostalgic wanker that justifed what i said in my 2nd post. I tend to keep my opnions to the subject matter and not vile language which seems rife on UTube
1 - had an opinion of a tv show & only the people involved in presenting it. All art is open to critism
2- ''belittling'' the person who refered to me as a wanker for having an opnion of a tv show?
3- my opinions in later posts were questioned, my original post is the one i stand by & for that opinion i was insulted far more viciously than what i was being accused of. Please just present a view of the tv show to sway my opinion rather than attack someone for having a different one to yours

Great Trailer!!! finally someone using the classic theme music from the era in which the trailer come from. I am sick and tried of videos when they always use the new theme for the Trailer so thanks :)
I dont think you should have really added the Master because being as i have seen this story and own it on DVD , he really should be left as a surprise to anyone who hasint yet seen it , so you've probably gone and spoiled it for people who have yet to see the story .
Yeah I always try to approach it as though it would be the first glimpse someone would have of the story. I will do another when I get some spare time. It usually takes about 2 or 3 hours, plus a watch of the story to register the best bits to use!
I tend to do one every few months when I get a spare few hours! The later stories are harder as they are full of incidental music. I am thinking Earthshock next...
to be honest the 7th doctor is my least favourite one but this was a great story

The last EVER episode of the classic series! good trailer!

This was an excellent episode to end the 7th Doctor's era. VFX were actually quite good too! Well, as far as Doctor Who standards go, at least...

I like the trailer, but I think it would've been better to keep the master's reveal a secret!

I personally like the McCoy Theme, because it worked. It fitted the title sequence.
It was right for that time.
Personally don't see what's wrong with it.

Because you're seeking to absolve yourself for any responsibility in causing the conflict. Your mistakes were:
1) tactlessly attacking something others hold dear (which was bound to provoke a response)
2) belittling the person afterwards in just as vicious (however worded) a manner.
3) Believing that it was just to do so simply because he was more colloquial in his response that was ultimately still provoked by you.
Basically you resent being savaged but reserve the right to savage others.

the titles are more awful than the music, although I suppose it wouldn't have taken much to have collaborated with Brian Eno or Coil back then.
