@forwardpass because they both are playing the 4 of a kind that was dealt to the table with a high card. the one guy has 4 threes king high, and ricky has 4 threes ace high.
It's relatively simple, he removed those cards from the deck prior to playing them (47 cards looks awfully similar to 52) and switched them after he dealt the last card to everyone. There are multiple times his hand/arm passes over the cards and is an ideal time to switch them.
@Michielos23 correct, like Dan and Dave, they can do extreme flourishes, but they can't entertain people, or do card effects, the real ones, and this is why Giobbi, Jay, Marlo, Vernon and others could write books
