I have both and I prefer this version because in the next gen one you're either invisible or you're visible, marked by the green or yellow light on your back, and the other one is buggy as hell, you'd find bugs without even TRYING to find it

I'm going to replace my old broken ps2 and I was wondering: can I use USB thumb drives to save my ps2 saves instead of a memory card? If I need more space I'd rather buy a 4GB thumb drive for 10$ instead of a 8mb memory card. Also I can't believe how much content they cut from the 360 version of DA I have...

Nope, the next gen version is the inferior one. I have it, and it's only selling point was the next gen graphics, and in 2011 it's already dated. It was a lame attempt at making quick profit with minimal effort in level and gameplay design.

This one is a real game, made with the same love and skill as the first three.

@markonino I don't think anybody here was talking about Conviction. I know I was talking about the old and new gen versions of Double Agent. But you bring up a valid point about Conviction: if it's too different from the old games to even be compared to them, doesn't it actually SUFFER from that fact since it's supposed to be a continuation of the series? It's more than an update, it loses the old fans and starts the potential new fans from the MIDDLE of things. A game shouldn't do that.

er.....i jus wanted to suggest a thing....i am not a gr8 player like you.......but .........the thing is, when you jump off a ledge it takes away a part of your health meter....but if u walk slowly crouched towards the edge of the ledge he hangs to it and then drops safely......jus a suggestion for the beginners cos i dont think the experts should really worry about the health meter.

@ilovethebooks619 good advice. Even on Elite, I almost never worry about my health bar. I try to not even get caught by the guards. This is better then the PS3 version, and I have both.

i noticed that every time you interrogated someone, you choked him at the end instead of knocking him out does sam choke him automatically or is there a button for it?

Choking is the knock out move, Sam only chokes the person until he's unconscious and the move is silent. Kicking in the back is the kill move, Sam breaks the person's spine and makes hell of a lot of noise doing it. Both moves have their own buttons.

I have this game for ps2 I've beat it twice this game even tops grand theft auto sanandreas the stealth u can use is cool like on the last mission u can hide on the pipes below the stair well and head shot with pistol wen the guy walks by I also have a ps3 and wen the new splinter cell conviction came out I wanted to get it but is only for xbox 360!!! That's bullshit considering the previous ones that I know of have been for playstation
