Actually a single spark with 4 valves is better than a dual spark with 2 valves. The reason is that the best place to have the spark plug is the center of cylinder so that the flame expands efficiently. With 2 valves you cannot place it in the dead center, so Pulsar has chosen 2 spark plugs, a good choice if you can't afford 4 valves though..
Probably yes, since it would require 2 camshafts etc.. And that's the reason they havent' done it (yet). I'll bet in a year or two they'll do it to improve the effiency of the engine.
But an European 125cc costs much more than the Pulsar. I am not saying the Pulsar is the best bike. But if offers bang for the buck. You need to drive one before passing such stupid comments.

Heh, in the video the bikes can't even do a proper wheelie, the best they can do is dump the clutch and hold it up for 1 second, and then attach snips to make it look impressive, or perhaps that was all special effects. Seriously, 200cc motorbikes?! Clowns.

FYI - the ad was a result of a worldwide collaboration of some of the best in the business. i think its a truly outstanding ad that deserves applause to everyone concerned in the ad - the stuntsmen, music, producers, directors, etc etc and finally bajaj!

One thing i like about Pulsar ads is that they dont hire any bollywood stars or cricketers to sell their product. They know its about passion, sport and energy that strikes todays generation. Thats what makes this ad cool.

Forget liter bikes, at least ride 500cc bikes, or does power inhibit the digestion of curry?! Seriously, look at the video you can see these people can't hold a "wheelie" for more than 1 second (spliced vid ).
You know people give too much respect to big engine big horse power bikes. I saw a kid today riding down the street up on one wheel and he was riding a 21speed bicycle. Those stunt riders in the video do an amazing job. Makes me want one of the bikes as a teaching bike and learning bike.

Heh, in the video the bikes can't even do a proper wheelie, the best they can do is dump the clutch and hold it up for 1 second, and then attach snips to make it look impressive, or perhaps that was all special effects. Seriously, 200cc motorbikes?! Clowns.

critics are fine, but some here seem to go out of the way to say that these ad stinks, while the world over in bike forums - they have loved the ad. talk about hypocrisy.
FYI - the ad was a result of a worldwide collaboration of some of the best in the business. i think its a truly outstanding ad that deserves applause to everyone concerned in the ad - the stuntsmen, music, producers, directors, etc etc and finally bajaj!

One thing i like about Pulsar ads is that they dont hire any bollywood stars or cricketers to sell their product. They know its about passion, sport and energy that strikes todays generation. Thats what makes this ad cool.
Hiring some famous faces to do ad of their products like honda seems like someone is selling cookies or innerware. They dump emotions and adrenalin.

FANTASTIC is the word for the ad... couple o guys have talked about the specs of PULSAR... junk toy..not a sports bike etc... pld do remember tht before pulsar came in INDIA s bike segment was ruled by bikes like SPLENDOR n the rest... (i myself at one pt. o time used to think thts the best bike to hit this country)... wht pulsar has chenged is incrdible.. it has led to changes in HH, TVS n Honda too... hats off to BAJAJ.. it has flaws , no doubt.. but it has created waves.. u CANT DENY THT dude

Well, I saw the 220~225CC bikes pull of a wheelie for many second near my place where enthusiasts gather. Seeing is believing :)

You know people give too much respect to big engine big horse power bikes. I saw a kid today riding down the street up on one wheel and he was riding a 21speed bicycle. Those stunt riders in the video do an amazing job. Makes me want one of the bikes as a teaching bike and learning bike.
