This so reminds me of a night-club I used to frequent many moons ago lol called Fat Sams - halcyon days indeed. Scottish New Wave at it's best. Great Post.
Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!
OMG I almost wore out this song on the album. Loved it...still do. It was played in EVERY decent dance hall in Glasgow mid 80's...Did many a moony to it ha.
there is a thing about Lanarkshire/Glasgow bands of the 80s that I miss. It is very bass driven, from the famous Hipsway and Texas early stuff, to the almost of Fruits of Passion, Hearts and Minds/Wild River Apples.
Does anyone remember the video? Gerard Kelly was in it. Filmed in Old Bond St and Virgins "Heaven" nightclub in London. Great vocal on this song. Great album. "Pride" is my fave. Request for Davie Fullarton to post a message, good guy.
i bought this album in tower records in piccadilly circus in 1986 i thought i was the only one who bought it, well south of the border anyway, its the dogs bollocks thank heavens for usb turntables
