  • Your "rubato" is distorting the rhythm and burying the tempo. Also, phrase the lines please.

  • @bachmaninoff

You'll find tons of "no rubato" pianists, and you'll like them.

    Bye,

    S.

  • omg. pls play it a bit faster.....

  • why don't YOU play it faster ?

    Thank you,

    S.

  • @SarrasaniPianoCircus

ok i'll send you the link as soon as possible ;)

  • you play the piano for intuition

  • Intuition of meaning is better than literal and unuseful score reading.

Then, thank you for your kind words

  • ok. you can have much intuition but you mustn't lose the tempo. You believe me. he will be much professional. keem me touch

  • @xic1090

oh, but I'm not a professional pianist, then I play so well.

  • I really don't like to criticize, and perhaps you're aware of what I'm about to say and just wish to play it as you will, but I believe you should fasten up the tempo; at least I've heard a version much faster and was delighted by its vivacity.. I would play it faster, it's supposed to be cheery and lively!

  • You are right: it's supposed.

    Why?

I suppose what I wrote as comment and presentation to my interpretation, than....

Thank you for attention, and you can find tons ov version of this played as a (IMHO

    ridicoluos) little march.

  • Dear Mr. Sarrasani,

I totally admire both your playing with aesthetics, art form and shooting angle of camcorder.

It's my great honor to be a friend of yours. thank you so much. ( and i'm really sorry for my poor English.)

  • I'm honoured of your attention and so kind comments. Thank you much and by heart.

  • I love this piece and how you play it. Wish you all the best for the year to come Sandro!

  • sounds quite expressive. I would like it bit faster though, and with a little more rhythmic drive (even though the marking says "not too fast").

  • Zauberlich! Merci vielmals.

  • Ever proud of your attention. Thank you.

  • I like it !!

  • beautiful!

  • Thank you Xamandine! Like an entrance in some of the wonderful and mysterious woods of your videos.....

  • Hello there, I'm back.Lovely playing.

  • Hi Mike, happy to read you, and thank you for commenting.

  • Hi Sandro, this music is realy lovely.I like your interpretation very much. You can play very good Schubert and Schumann!

  • Thank you much, happy you appreciated.

I find the late Schumann very far from the early one, and so difficult to interpretate.

There is a sort of inspiration paralysis, of ice that capture the ideas. I try to put in evidence this.

  • Wonderful music making! You are an amazing artist!

  • Thank you much, you are very kind.

I like much to play in the way I love to do, and this is important for me. Also better if someone appreciates my work, and I'm satisfied also for this aspect (not thousands of fans, but very good ones, often musicians very better than me). All the best for you.

  • Very differnet from how it's normally played - but it's so much moe intersting this way! Schumann would like it, I'm pretty sure. 5 stars from me!

  • Thank you kpunkt, ever interested in your words as in your playing.
