Alma was trying to kill you in the first F.E.A.R., Paxton was stopping her because he knew that you were his brother. Then you thought you had killed him. In the expansion Alma is protecting you because she knows that you are her son. Paxton wants to kill you because you tried to kill him in the first one. That's why Alma kills the soldiers that are working for Paxton.

little alma (8) is the one who cares for u. the big alma (15) is full of hate after what she was put through. the young alma actually saves the protagonist several times. THAT was spookier than anything else in the game, in my opinion. i spent the rest of the time trying to figure that out

Perseus Mandate" the story is actualy the same time as the point man play his mission but will be playing in a diffrent location away from the point man so will be playing new character and there will be a partner who fight along side with you

I think the psycho Maternity Nurse in the hospital was one of the most scariest parts int he entire expansion. It made my friend and I jump from our seats.This was an awesome good game. Too abd it couldn't come out for 360 liek the first F.E.A.R game.

I can't really see because of the quality, but i see that the shadows are missing. If you had to play the game without the shadows that had to suck, since shadows are a huge part of both the original and the EP. If you just did it for some knid of fun then w/e.

both young and adult Alma were converging together. Young alma seems to be observing you or protecting you while the adult wants to kill you or slow you down.

Almas better half (i.e. little kid) is probably one of innocence and does want to protect you since you are her child.

while her adult half probably presents hate and anger. So it doesnt matter who it is. She just wants it dead.

fettel helps her so she revives fettel. she doesnt care about the clone soldiers though.

Agreed. The biggest complaint in reviews is that people claim there was no expanding the plot, well this looks like a huge plot to me. If there are any other of these sort of things in the game put them up.

The "no expanding the plot" complaint is that all it did was just give questions that are never answered in the expansion pack, which is quite a shame. We were never given much of a reason why Paxton is still around, why Child Alma is helping us, why Jin and Doug Holliday are killed. Nothing.

There's only one instance in which child Alma saves you, the scene "merge scene" at the very end of the game could represent Alma's conflicting emotions, but child Alma seems to do the same things that the adult Alma does, I will admit that adult Alma seems to want to hurt you a bit more, but in the end it seems she want show you her hatred. Just some thoughts.
