Imagine that the U.S. population is exactly 300 million (which is just about accurate in 2010).
If 1 person in 3 (100 million out of 300 million) each had 1 packet of $10,000 in their pocket that would equal 1 TRILLION dollars.

When was the last time you saw some overt violent racism in the west... yea it happens but not in the quantity it used to. So were slow at getting rid of it all, you know how hard it is to try and completely 180 peoples backwards ignorant beliefs? @lovingit1000 Um because a lynching wasn't a form of death penalty actually it was used on the you know kill 1 force hundreds to do what you want principle. If you publicly destroy someone entirely, then nobody will want do do what they did and get the same type of punishment. The death penalty in my opinion is way to weak anyway. If someone is sentenced to death by the law and stuff they should just be shot in the back of the head quickly 3 times... that's = painless as poison in the veins

Did that child have a choice that his schools are falling apart and that he or she will be pushed through them to a life where there AREN'T MANY CHOICES FOR YOU? You are blind! And with so many people being let go from prison after 30-40 years recently, I can't believe anyone would even support the death penalty. And guess what color 90% of those people are?!

@joemama114 - Excuse me, but what do you think the death penalty is there for? Wasn't it supposed to be a way to deter people? And if that is the case, exactly how is that different from your definition of a lynching? And since the death penalty is 99.99999% given to the poor or the black, how is that also different from a lynching? It isn't. The death penalty is SANCTIONED lynching.

@lovingit1000 Death penalty is total opposite if lynching if that is possible. A person who is deemed "NOTHING WILL EVER HELP CHANGE THIS PERSON" they are taken to a room given a number of injections and then they die.... that simple no blood no violence
Lynching is very violent and messy was for the simple reason of scaring people into doing what you want them to do.
You are trying to make a connection from a public execution to a private and contained form of murder (that is approved by law)

@lovingit1000 Anyone has a choice and people who choose to deal in illegal commodities or businesses should expect that at one point or another they WILL go to jail. If they don't then I guess they got lucky. It comes to laziness and greed. If you want an easy out and you make your living on illegal money... then expect things WILL turn for the worse as easily as they became good. Their is no short cuts in life and if you try and take one you cut short your life instead of enrich it.

@lovingit1000 Well I live in Canada and specifically Toronto. A short walk out my front door and down the street. If I see 1 dozen people they are probably from 8-9 different backgrounds. Apparently Toronto hasn't torn it self apart yet so we all managed to keep going on our own business fairly well without getting pissed off at each other... I just try and keep that grin on my face all day... even if I'm down, feign kindness to strangers... maybe they return the favor maybe not but who cares?

The problem is that I know black people that can go around calling me whitey calling my brother white boy or cracker, and its totally ok by all means, but if I even say the word black around a black person then all Hell has broke lose and I'm raciest, why do alot of black people think they have that right just because a dang long time ago there was slavery....that's over now and everyone meeds to get over it!

@lovingit1000 you ask who said anything about it being ok....that is a very weird question because I don't really have the time to list all the names, you should know that in society it is socially ok, no one has to go on tv or the news and say it for it to be the truth, and it's not entirely just whites and blacks, but you know as well as I do that that's where the fight is mostly at...why even try to denie it.

If you were to look I don't think you will find much to corroborate his "findings" nor will this change the fact, that time is over now... regardless of what happened were in a different time now, different game and different rules apply so who is in denial now? @joemama114 - If you've ever wondered how slavery could have lasted for 150 years and de facto slavery for another 100 years (at least, if you count the Civil Rights Act as a technical stopping point), you only have to look in the mirror. Your comments can be added to the long list of DENIAL right up there with "Our slaves are happy" and "Jim Crow means separate but equal."

@lovingit1000 Still I'd rather be blind then have some brain damage. Current methods can help blind people with functioning = or better than the average person and possibly with the modern sciences even correct any damaged eye cells. Sadly their is no cure known for ignorance and stupidity

Don't be making judgments on people just because you have a different opinion. I work with a man named Clarence, he's black and the most hard working man i know. He don't care what anyone thinks of him except his family, himself and his God. He is the most honorable man I've met. Would you hold up to his standard? I know I wouldn't by a long shot.
