there is absolutely nothing wrong with this treatment.. its enlightening to those who dont understand african cultures we may take it for granted but you have to remember there are millions of blacks out there who dont have the benefit of a cultural identity.. this is a revelation to them..
christainity came to africa via the whiteman via the missionaries but it was practiced in ethiopia long before their was a european presence in africa.. the christian way of worship is tailored to the cultures where it is practiced, but we have taken the english way of doing things too far.. let us not forget our cultures before we end up like the akatas doing dna tests to find a place to belong to.
I am not arguing. which ever way Christainity came to us is of no interest to me, it is scriptural. whitemen may have brought it, but they do not own it. it came all the way from israel thru Jesus Christ. its not a religion (which i believe u know). the basuc thing is ELIMINATE THINGS THAT MAY SEEM TO BRING NEGATIVE IMPRESSION, if u are going to apply something cultural, do it perfectly, not to bring dual feelings.
Does being Christian mean we are no more African? He came for the Jew as well as the gentile, that means you and me. I'm sure he accepts praise and worship in any form, as long as it is heartfelt.
This song, its delivery, the proverbial richness, and all of it, stamps the beauty of Yoruba language. Thank you for posting this video; and Infinity, I wish you well.
i saw this great song and i cant believe its from my country. i love the song, the originality, concept and presentation. i love the video quality too. i love you guys and i love nigeria.peace from Newyork xx
Another beautiful peice of music byy Infinity...as said before their music is very original..touching and true! x Keep It up Nigeria We jus keep gettin better (y)
This is one of such things that make one want to hold on to life. This is human creativity at its best.Nigerians are definitely gifted, and we compare favourably to the very best anywhere.
This guys come up with stunning music and stunning visuals. Nollywood producers/marketers, here's a sample for ya, no need to put together some horse sh*t in one week and call it a 'movie'. Now this is some good video.
