Muhammad never referred to himself in the 3rd person.If you are talking about how Allah calls Himself "We", then Allah is talking about himself in the "Royal We" sense of the word.To mention someones name like Muhammad in the third person is a sign of respect, ie Muhammadan. However only Allah ever refers to Himself in that way. To do otherwise yourself is a sin.
